Miley Cyrus Covers Teen Vogue

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

Miley Cyrus is featured on the April 2010 issue of Teen Vogue. The 17-year old actress/singer talked about her ‘The Last Song’ co-star and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth and her future in music among other things. Miley spoke about her career saying “The more I make music that doesn’t truly inspire me, the more I feel like I’m blending in with everyone else. So after this next album, I’m taking some time off.” She also spoke of her chemistry with Liam saying “I think we’re both deeper than normal people—what they think and how they feel. He’s very grateful for what he has, but he doesn’t let it go to his head. I’m like that too.”

No Vogue for Rihanna

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

At the Met’s annual Costume Institute Gala, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour approached Rihanna about doing a front cover and inside spread for the legendary fashion magazine. However, Star magazine is reporting that as soon as the Barbadian singer’s less than royal naked photographs hit the internet earlier this month, the Vogue offer was reportedly nixed. Sorry girl. Better luck next time. That next time may have to be when Anna decides to retire – which may be never. The magazine is going to die with her. Word to the wise: nude photos always come out so best be safe and not take them at all.

Vogue Butchers Adele

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

Vogue has committed a crime against Adele! Photographer Annie Leibovitz is causing a bit of controversy again after pictures of the British singer came out and you can hardly tell that it’s Adele in the pictures. That’s a lot of Photoshop work! Considering that this is Vogue and they recently had Beyonce on the cover of the magazine with the headline “Real women have curves”, it’s all a bit hypocritical that they will turn around and butcher Adele like this. They should just make up their minds about what they are really trying to represent. I’m never going to forgive them for doing that to Adele.
