Jason Mraz’s Twitter account got hacked into earlier this week and all the losers did was send out links to a site that adds $9.99 onto your phone bill. That is completely obnoxious and not at all funny. Why hack into someone’s account and do just that? Couldn’t they have at least written something about the singer like whoever hacked into Britney Spears’ Twitter back in November that she was a Satanist? Now that was actually funny. I’m sure Jason thinks pretty much the same. Who wants additional costs on their phone bill anyway when the services still stay crappy?

American Idol alums Diana DeGarmo and Ace Young are ready to get their turn in the spotlight as the two once aspiring singers were recently announced to be part of the new cast of ‘Hair’ on Broadway. The two will be joining the cast on March 9. Both Ace and Diana aren’t first timers on the Great White Way. Ace has been part of the cast of ‘Grease’ and Diana has been in ‘Hairspray’. Diana went on her Twitter once she heard the news and said ““God, I looked just LOVELY at the press conference today… what can I say, I was in rehearsal gear….. hahahaha good times.”

How do you measure an artist’s dedication to her fans? If you ask Lady Gaga, dedication is when you get a new tattoo dedicated to all your fans. And that’s exactly what the new princess of pop did. The singer recently posted a picture of her new tattoo on Twitter. She wrote “look what i did last night. little monsters forever, on the arm that holds my mic. xx” The tattoo is a script on the inside of her wrist that says ‘Little Monsters’, which is what she affectionately calls her fans. I think I just heard her fans say a collective “aww”.

Mariah Carey announced via her Twitter that she would be coming out with her own brand of champagne. The singer said “Didn’t realize they put the champagne on the tables, So we WOULDN’T drink it! LoL. No, seriously ANGEL CHAMPAGNE (ROSE) by MC coming soon!” I now wonder whether her slurred speeches that she recently made were marketing ploys or research and development instead of her actually being drunk. It’s good that the curvaceous diva didn’t announce a specific date of the champagne’s debut though as it would probably just get pushed back anyway. And yes, I went there. When was the last time something of Mariah’s came out on time anyway?

‘Gossip Girl’ star Leighton Meester joined Weezer on stage during the band’s Halloween concert at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City last weekend. The actress and aspiring singer helped Rivers Cuomo sing the band’s new single ‘(If You’re Wondering if I Want You To) I Want You To’. Naked Brothers Band guitarist Nat Wolff also joined in on the show. After the show, Leighton went on her Twitter to talk about her experience and said that Rivers was “perfection in a bottle”. I know I’ve shared my doubts about Leighton’s singing but she’s actually pretty good live. The success of her music career is still up in the air though.

Dancing with the Stars just got started and 3 people have already been hurt! Singer Mya is the latest victim of the show’s mythic curse. She took to her Twitter to explain her injury saying “Went 2 the hospital late last night 2 get stitches. Deep cut from glass. Only caught 2hours of sleep but feel great. Must be adrenaline. Nothing to worry about. Just an ugly slice on my finger-not the first time I’ve had stitches. I’ll be just fine. Thanks4the concern.” She should be concerned though. Kim Kardashian got a similar injury during her time on the show and she got booted on week 3 despite being a judges’ favorite.

Mika went on his Twitter last week telling his fans that he would buy them a round at a West London bar to toast the release of his brand new single ‘We Are Golden’. The singer remained true to his promise even when more than 300 of his fans showed up for their free round at the bar. His bar tab ended up running well over $20,000. Mika said “I bought my fans a pint to say thanks for being brilliant.” What a nice guy! I can’t even get my friends to buy me a round. I can’t believe he bought a good round for 300 strangers.

Miley Cyrus’ management hung up on more than one radio station this past week during phone interviews with the singer actress. The Hannah Montana star has recently taken to her Twitter to try to defend herself. She wrote “Theirs a little drama (of course the world loves it ew.) because apparently i “hung up” on radio stations today and I hate to say thats not true. I am a specific time limit and schedules are set up for specific time frames for each station… if a station goes over time I am IMMEDIATELY connected to the next station. YES, i am sorry if anyone thought I ‘hung up” on them. The peeps at the radio stations r friends we know each other well and have a great relationship. I’m sorry if anything was miscommunicated, taken out of context, or misunderstood.” Why wouldn’t any of the stations try to wrap up if they were nearing the limit?

Spencer Pratt has got to be the biggest poser and most delusional person I’ve ever come across. The reality show “star” recently told Complex magazine “I would say Diddy is the most interesting Twitter-er. I definitely will follow the hip-hop circle now that I have infiltrated the game, just so that I can be aware of my rivals and what my competitors are doing. But, I’m not really interested in anybody, that’s why I started rapping. I’m still a fan of Tupac. That’s the only rapper that I’m still like, “Oh! Tupac!” Besides Gucci, and Juiceman, I’m not really excited about anybody in the game. I just love Gucci and Juice because they just have too much swag that they don’t know what to do with themselves.” Oh please!
