Chris Cornell’s long-awaited Timbaland produced album, Scream

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

Chris Cornell’s long-awaited Timbaland produced album, Scream, is reaching stores on March 10. Chris has been keeping busy rehearsing with his new band and talking with his fans on his blog to gear up for the release. The front man hasn’t picked up an electric guitar since the break-up of his legendary group Soundgarden back in the late 90’s, but according to his latest blog entry on ChrisCornell.com, he’s thinking of busting them out for his upcoming tour:

“Hi people. Here is an open question. Since I got my guitars back I have been considering playing guitar live again. Who thinks I should pick it up again? I play guitar all day every day as I am always working on new songs. Let me know if you think I should hit it live. The king is dead. God save the king.”

Chris Cornell will be performing on Jimmy Kimmel live tonight, Friday, January 23rd - and free tickets are up for grabs. If you’re in the Los Angeles area, come along and see his outdoor mini-concert - tickets and all other details are available now. It’s a great chance to catch Chris and his band live before they head out to Europe for four exclusive shows next month.

New Kids On The Block are set to release a duet with rapper Ne-Yo.

The boy band – who recently reformed following their success in the late 80s and early 90s – have teamed up with the R’n’B singer on their new track ‘Single’.

According to sources, the song will also appear on the band’s upcoming album ‘The Block’ which will be released worldwide in September.

Other singers who appear on the highly-anticipated record include the Pussycat Dolls and Lady Gaga, and it features tracks produced by Timbaland, Teddy Riley and RedOne. New Kids On The Block - Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Joe

McIntyre, Danny Wood and Donnie Wahlberg - will release their first comeback single ‘Summertime’ this August.

It was recently reported the group will be collaborating with pop legend Michael Jackson, who is keen to revive his own career.

Donnie said: “It’s very exciting. It’s one big party and everyone wants to join us!”

New Kids On The Block will start their North American tour this September.

Madonna Gets Leaked

Friday, December 21st, 2007

Madonna’s new album isn’t expected to drop until well into the next year but that isn’t stopping Timbaland from leaking one of the songs that he worked on with the Queen of Pop. The producer played ‘4 Minutes to Save the World’ at the Jingle Ball in Philadelphia on Sunday night. I just hope that he got her permission to do so.

The song also features Justin Timberlake and it’s pretty hot. How could it not be when you’ve got all that great talent working on it? I’m also hoping that the finished version has a lot less of Timbaland though.

Timbaland: Britney Spears Needs To Apologize

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

timbaland-photo.jpg

Now that he has been proved this chaps just going keep running his point over and over again till we damn kick his ass and tell him that it’s been six months since the VMAs have been over. He might have been right that Britney will prove to be a failure at the MTV awards but that doesn’t mean he is some kind of messiah knows what’s going to be the Britney Spears performance and other things too, then he would have known that Kanye West wasn’t going to win in any of the five categories. So we all know he is not a messiah. Britney tired to get it right but she couldn’t, she is just a human trying to get it right all over again, she might not succeed but at least she’s tired to success, you these morons who think she finished and a waste need to take a closer look at themselves at see if they have ever achieved even a fraction of the success that Britney has. Mr. Timbaland good for you that you’ve been able to get a prediction right, but the same could happen to you.

BRITNEY SPEARS’ AMAZING NEW SINGLE PRODUCED BY NATE “DANJA” HILLS TIMBALAND’S PROTEGE

New Celine

Wednesday, August 1st, 2007

Everyone is pretty much expecting Britney’s comeback to be a train wreck so let’s just forget about hers and focus on Celine Dion’s! Several insiders have leaked out that Celine is working on a new album.

Much like Madonna, Celine has worked with an interesting group of songwriters and producers for her album which would be released by November. The likes of Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics recorded a song with her called ‘Taking a Chance’. Celine has worked on 3 songs with former Evanescence member Ben Moody. The likes of R. Kelly, Timbaland and Ne-Yo are also said to have worked with her.

Madonna Works Hard for the Money

Madonna works hard and will no doubt get to play harder. She’s been making a new record with some of the best producers out there like Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams and her new album is said to be great but she is leaving her long-time home at Warner Bros. Records.

Don’t be sad for the pop icon though. The Queen of Pop is said to be negotiation with the music executives at Live Nation to sign a deal that would cover her touring, recording, merchandising and other stuff. The said deal is for something between $160 to $180 million.
