Mika has revealed he wants to collaborate with Amy Winehouse on a Jewish album.

Beirut-born Mika’s mother is Lebanese, and having learned that Amy was planning an album of Christmas and Hanukkah songs, he is keen to get involved to “make a statement”.

The flamboyant singer revealed: “I heard Amy will be recording an album of Jewish music once she gets well and I’d like to make a contribution to it. I really like her music. Think about this - me, a part-Lebanese artist working on a Jewish album. I think that’s a nice statement. I’d like to make a statement some day.”

Israel and Lebanon have had years of violent conflict. I’m not sure that Mika singing about Big Girls or Lollipops will make much of an impact on the situation; but I like his sentiment.

“The paradigm in the music business has shifted and as an artist and a business woman, I have to move with that shift. For the first time in my career, the way that my music can reach my fans is unlimited. I’ve never wanted to think in a limited way and with this new partnership, the possibilities are endless.” These are the comments that Madonna had to make on her record $120 deal with Live Nation. Once upon a time, a very long time ago, Madonna told Dick Clark she wanted to “rule the world.” Well, I guess she thinks she still can. Madonna should have just retired from the business years ago; she gets more annoying as she gets older. Her real talent lies in the art of self promotion, and she is a master at it. What limit did her music have? It is all over the place, even the crappy music of the last 5 years…and she is using her money to pass on that false religion, Kaballah, especially on the poor, hapless people of Malawi. She bores me.

Gwen Stefani was willing to yield for the Muslims but Beyonce is not having it. Her Kuala Lumpur concert that was supposed to take place on November 1 has been canceled due to protests by Muslim groups. These Muslims are very hardcore people and they always have objections to stage show performances by international artist. Gwen might have made some prior commitments so she just went through the routines during her show in Kuala Lumpur but I am more of the Beyonce thought that if you are not going to be able to perform as your usual self then there is no point in doing the show. If y’all remember Gwen had some strict rules to abide by such as no hugging or kissing audience members, no jumping or shouting, and no revealing clothing. Beyonce is too diva to let anyone tell her what she can’t do, wear or say.
