Pete Wentz Paranoia

Monday, January 12th, 2009

Pete Wentz is one paranoid man and he isn’t afraid to admit that he struggles to control his anxiety. The Fall Out Boy bassist said “I’m paranoid pretty much all the time. I can take three Xanax and not feel a thing.” He also revealed that he tries not to read about himself online saying “I was letting the blogs get to me. It’s semi-frustrating when your name actually becomes a synonym for douche bag.” Well, if you are a douche bag then there’s no reason for bloggers to not write about it. Anyway, he aslo said that he’s trying to change his way of living, especially with baby Bronx around. He said “I’m working on not swearing around Bronx. I know I have a bit of a bad mouth.”

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz baby

Saturday, November 22nd, 2008

Over the past days, we have been waiting for news as to when Ashlee Simpson-Wentz was to give birth.
After days of waiting she finally gave birth to a baby boy last night and gave me a real good laugh.
People reports:
Bronx Mowgli Wentz weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20 1/2 inches long.
“Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!” a spokesperson tells PEOPLE.
Bronx Mowgli Wentz. What the hell? MOWGLI? The same kid in “The Jungle Book”? you must be shitting me!
No kidding? They really named him Bronx Mowgli Wentz?
If I were that kid, I’d curse my parents for giving me a name so ugly.
Congrats to Ashlee & Pete and best of luck to Bronx. You’re gonna need it.

Pete Wentz has hinted he and wife Ashlee Simpson are expecting twins. The Fall Out Boy rocker accidentally let the news slip during an interview on a US radio show when he referred to his unborn baby as “them”.

Pete said: “We’ve been keeping a book so far, like a journal for them - for them when they’re, uh, born.”

The 29-year-old musician then started laughing nervously before wrapping up the interview. Meanwhile, Pete has also revealed he is keen to find out the sex of the unborn child, or children. He said: “I’d like to know the sex of the baby. It would be a bummer if you bought a boy a bunch of pink stuff!”

He also revealed 23-year-old Ashlee is coping well with the pregnancy, adding: “I think any pregnant woman knows it’s a lot of stress on your body, but she’s really healthy and handling it like a champ.”

Pete and Ashlee married in May after dating for two years.

Pete Wentz was Suicidal

Friday, March 21st, 2008

Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz has confessed that he was once so depressed that he tried to commit suicide. In an effort to encourage students suffering from mental illness to get help, Pete, Mary J. Blige and Smashing Pumpkins front man Billy Corgan front the Jed Foundation’s ‘Half of Us’ campaign which is aimed to cut student suicide rates. The 3 musicians sat down for interviews detailing their darkest hours which appear on MTV’s college channel mtvU. Pete confessed to being so messed up and taking a bunch of prescription drugs in a parking lot. Suicide is never the answer. Get help if you’re feeling depressed.

Ashlee’s New Promo

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

Has anyone seen Ashlee Simpson’s bra? The former preacher’s daughter turned wannabe singer turns up the sleaze in a new promo picture for her forthcoming album which will be out in March. Apparently, their sticking to the old adage that sex sells. Or so she hopes. I wouldn’t want to touch her with a ten foot pole. I don’t know where she’s been.

The rosary is a nice touch. I wonder whose idea that was. I bet it was her manipulative dad’s. I bet he was even that one who took this picture! Ha! Or maybe it was Pete Wentz. I’m not entirely sure.

Pete Wentz is a Sourpuss

Tuesday, December 11th, 2007

Fall Out Boy got a total of zero Grammy nominations on Thursday mor

ning and come night time, bassist Pete Wentz showed just how much of a sore loser he was when he pitched a fit at the People magazine Grammy kick off party. Pete continues to be a sourpuss when he made a post on the band’s official blog.

In the blog titled “got bitterness? vs. a revelation on true connection (and the award goes to)” Pete reveals just how he felt about the lack of nominations but yet being asked to appear and even perform for a kick off party.

But apart from bitterness, Pete actually has a great point about relevance and acceptance in there. It’s a good read.
