The Black Eyed Peas had a concert in El Salvador last Friday. However, Fergie was noticeable absent for a good portion of the show. She did come out for a while wearing sweats, a cap and dark sunglasses and told the crowd that she got food poisoning and was not feeling well.

Fergie addressed the crowd and said “I’m not one of those singers that cancels a show due to exhaustion” and then proceeded to wreck her own song ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’. I just gained new respect for her though because she at least tried.

The band has already said they will make it up for it and will schedule another concert in El Salvador real soon.

Girls are known to be shopping freaks, once they have the money in their hands they just keep going on until they are finished with it. That was in the past and things haven’t changed at all, things have got even worse. Girls with the name and the money still shop till they drop but they more often then not do not have any money in their wallet most of the times. Lilly Allen too belong to the later category of girls who might have the money but either forget to carry it or take it for granted that high end market stores would recognize them and let them leave telling them that they could send the money with someone for the bill to be paid. Lilly at times has reportedly taken her credit card that has been rejected for insufficient funds or overuse has blocked the card or nonpayment of previous bills. Well I hope that they consider themselves worthy of a few thousand dollars and the next time she visits a place of credit she knows whether she is window shopping or actually out to buy some stuff.

Welsh pop singer Charlotte Church and her rugby-playing husband Gavin Henson are featured on the cover of UK’s OK! Magazine with their new bundle of joy, Ruby.

Charlotte gave birth to her baby girl two weeks ago in her home but almost gave birth in a parking lot of a hardware store. Gavin accidentally locked her in when the alarm went off. People started looking at the screeching car and noticed Charlotte. “I was just trying to hide but couldn’t - just sitting there having contractions!”

Charlotte also said that Ruby, named because of her bright red lips, looks like Gavin. Charlotte also spoke of how happy she is about the new arrival and is obviously glowing.

If you ever heard the phrase ‘selling like hotcakes’, this one just has to take the cake. It’s so insane that we may just have to change some words in that phrase.

Tickets for the Spice Girls’ reunion concert at London’s O2 Arena recently went on sale and it immediately sold out. How immediate? Get this, 38 seconds! The demand was so high that they even had to add three other London shows and a second show in Los Angeles. Those dates have already been added with the tickets already going on sale.

Now those are some hardcore fans. Wow!

Pop trio Sugababes have seen off competition from former X Factor winner Shayne Ward to take the number one position in the UK singles chart. Their track, About You Now, outsold Ward’s No U Hang Up/ If That’s OK With You to claim the top spot. Last week’s number one, Sean Kingston’s Beautiful Girls, fell to number four. This group has come from the blue and I never expected them to storm

the charts all the way to the top, this is really a surprise for me and that too a happy one. I haven’t seen the charts lately so I have no idea who has been the movers and shakers this week and the previous week. I also have no idea that where currently singer Rihanna’s hit number Umbrella is placed coz just a month and a half ago it made waves by becoming the first song in over a decade to occupy the number one slot for 4 consecutive weeks. Let’s see how long the Sugababes can hold on to their number 1 position.

Pop star Shakira is donating $40 million from Latin America for Solidarity Foundation (ALAS) - which she co-founded with Nobel Prize winning author Gabriel Garcia Marquez to help rebuild areas hit by natural disasters. The ALAS foundation will also invest $5 million into a three-year commitment project for children in the two regions. Now that’s hot! I never thought that a singer who not only sings hot but looks ever hotter can have such a kind heart to donate a massive $40 million. I have maintained and thought always that charity begins at home and there’s no end to charity because the world needs more and more of those who have the resources to come forward and donate generously. It’s just a matter of having the heart in a cause and then charity becomes a way of life. Go on Shakira you rock this way and you can rock with your hips something we all have seen many a times but today I have seen you rocking like never before.

Who’s that girl? To be honest with you, even I don’t know. But it does say that it’s Alli Sims, an overly made-up and airbrushed Alli Sims but Alli Sims nonetheless.

Alli is also known as Britney Spears’ ‘cousin’ and on/off assistant. But did you know that she’s also an aspiring pop star? She even launched a website to help promote her dreams of being a star. The site did go down for a while though but now it’s back up for business. However, it only contains that pic and not much else.

But then again, following Britney around is a job and half. Maybe that’s the reason there’s not much else on her site. She doesn’t have time to update it.

Melanie Brown, famously known as ‘Scary Spice’ of the hit 90s group the Spice Girls, is getting an edge on her group mates when it comes to sharpening up her dance moves as she throws on her hot pink leg warmers and hits the dance floor with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy to practice for the show ‘Dancing with the Stars’. Maksim is returning for his fourth season.

For people living under a rock for the past few months, the Spice Girls will be putting on a reunion tour on December. This will be the first time in six years that the five girls will be working together.

A New York criminal judge sentenced Foxy Brown to one year in jail on Friday (September 7) for violating her probation multiple times, according to a New York spokesperson for the Department of Probation. The troubled, pregnant rapper received the maximum penalty.

Brown (real name: Inga Marchand) had been in custody at the all-women Rose M. Singer Center at Rikers Island prison since August 22. She was ordered there after violating her probation in two separate incidents (see “Foxy Brown Sent To Jail For Violating Probation”). The violation stems from two separate incidents, Ryan confirmed: Brown’s recent arrest for allegedly assaulting her neighbor with a BlackBerry cell phone and for leaving the jurisdiction of New York without court permission.

In a separate hearing earlier in the day, Brown was indicted on assault charges stemming from the physical encounter with her neighbor.

Spokesman Jack Ryan told that Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Melissa Jackson held a “lengthy” hearing in which she scolded the rapper for not abiding by her probation guidelines, which included attending anger-management classes and regular meetings with a probation officer.

Ryan also said Brown failed to report her arrest in the Brooklyn case and a separate infraction in which the rapper changed her primary address from Brooklyn to a New Jersey address without reporting the switch to the probation office.

“She had a [previous] violation and pleaded guilty and got restored to probation [before],” Ryan explained. “So she had a chance. She just didn’t obey a number of conditions. We told the judge that she was not compliant and the judge decided to terminate her probation and place her in jail.”

Ryan confirmed the early hearing in Brooklyn had no bearing on Brown’s sentencing.

Remember the video all over television and YouTube of Faith Hill bitching out a concert-goer who grabbed Tim McGraw’s crotch at a concert in Louisiana back in July? Now Hill has finally got something to say about that ugly incident which hit the headlines for quite sometime after that. “I mean, how disrespectful! And plus, it’s like sexual harassment. I mean if a man was to do that to a woman? I mean c’mon.” said Hill. I’m totally agreeing with her that if a man did that to a woman he would be arrested. That woman who did that, whoever she is, needs to class it up a little bit. I wouldn’t want to mess with Faith Hill. She seems pretty ghetto when it comes to her career and her man. But to what extent would fans and these celebs go for a brawl anywhere like it were a street fight.

Lil Kim was pulled over by police Thursday night due to her car not having a license plate. A source who was at the scene revealed just how crazy the tiny rapper was.

The rapper originally told the cops that the car was a gift from her boyfriend and that the car was sent on a flatbed from California to New York and then told the cops that cars don’t need license plates in California. Who the heck is she trying to fool?

The story then changed when she told police that she was licensed to drive in New Jersey but she unfortunately forgot her license. It turns out, she’s not licensed to drive anywhere.

The former New Edition singer appeared in an Orange County courtroom Friday, where he sought to overturn a ruling granting his ex-wife Whitney Houston sole physical and legal custody of 14-year-old Bobbi Kristina. Puh-leeeeze, Bobby! The best thing Whitney did was cut you out of her AND her daughter’s life. You have been a leech and a bad influence from day one and have yet to prove otherwise. What kind of miracle does he think he can perform now which he couldn’t during the marriage, if he were a good father and a goof husband then the matter wouldn’t have come up for divorce and later custody. I do not know what he has in his ugly head but let me tell all you men out there that you never feel what a woman goes through she has to bring up a young daughter and take care of the house as well and the earnings part too. So Bobby whatever misdemeanors you encompass in your mind just throw it away and let Whitney live in peace.

Recent groom and father-to-be Usher is ready to pass on his name – to a boy.

In his first interview since marrying Tameka Foster on Aug. 3, the R&B star, making a surprise appearance on Tuesday’s post-Labor Day The Ellen DeGeneres Show, tells the host, “I don’t know,” when she asks, “Is it a boy or a girl?”

But, he adds, “I want it to be a boy” – which prompts DeGeneres to tell him, “Now, you’re going to have a girl, and she’s going to see this tape and say, ‘Daddy, why don’t you love me?’ You better save some for some therapy. But you’re going to love her if it’s a little girl.”

Asked if he wants a boy so they can play sports together, Usher says, “I think every man wants a son.”

As for names, “If it’s a boy, I’m going to name him Usher,” says the musician, whose full name is Usher Raymond. “I’m hoping to name him that. I’ve been playing with a few names. I’m the fourth. Usher Raymond IV. I just want to pass the name on. Maybe I’ll change the middle name.”

And, if it’s a girl? “What about Usherette?” asks DeGeneres.

“I thought you would’ve suggested Ellen first,” says Usher.

“Last time you were here, you were single,” DeGeneres also tells him. “You said you wanted a lady that you could take from the Waffle House to the White House. You found her.”

“I did. I found someone that I’m very, very happy to call my wife,” he tells her. “Tameka Raymond. She’s beautiful.”

Only DeGeneres also wants to know why she wasn’t invited to the wedding, which was originally scheduled for July 28 in the Hamptons but ended up taking place in a civil ceremony in Atlanta.

Celine Dion fans are in for a treat. A few lucky fans of the French-Canadian singer got to attend a very special listening party for her new album this past Monday night in Las Vegas. The tentative title of the album ‘Woman in Me’ has since been changed to ‘Taking Chances’ – with good reason.

The album definitely has a rock theme and is very guitar driven. It’s a sound that’s a little left of center for her. However, her trademark power ballads and even a bit of the blues are still there. It’s mixing something old with something new. With the change in sound, Celine is taking a chance.

Foxy Brown was hauled off to jail Wednesday after a judge revoked her probation. The 27-year-old rapper was accused of violating the terms of her release after she was arrested earlier this month on charges she smacked her neighbor with her cell phone. Authorities said Brown also skipped her anger management classes and traveled out of the city without permission. Foxy, foxy, foxy, why can’t you just act like a lady? I know it’s been a long time since you’ve been famous, but girl, hitting won’t solve anger, there is something call anger management classes, take one you will like it. You’ll have time to tone down that anger in jail. Shame on you…grow up! I know you cannot be a good enough rapper and your plight today is enough evidence of the same but one thing you can strive to be and may be find some success that you have to tasted for a long time is that you can be a good person, now I suppose that would be a tall ask from you as well. Then the only thing I guess that’s left for you to do is sit back in the jail and regroup yourself.

Pop superstar Madonna is set to leave her record label after her current deal expires, according to her publicist. The Material Girl is signed to Warner Music Group (WMG), but is in talks to leave the label after releasing the two remaining albums left on her contract with WMG. I seriously think that this move could really back fire for her, she is undeniably one of the most bankable pop stars of our times but the fact remains that she is not growing any younger by the day and with age not on her side she could be risking a lot. Be a free agent is like being a free human being and not being tied up with chains on a chair that’s pinching your butt. But it also means that she could be left in the cold if she is not able to secure a deal worth her prize. I wish her the beast of luck and that she remains in the main stream of things coz she’s really hot even today and her adventures are stuff that fans would like more of in future to see.

Another reality star thinks that just coz her show got big, she can get big too. ‘The Hills’ star Heidi Montag premiered her single ‘Body Language’ on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Thursday morning. Fans called in giving great reviews and even KIIS FM co-host Ellen K had herself calling Heidi the next Britney.The catch? Heidi’s fiancé Spencer Pratt raps on the single. Eww.

But guess what? The release was a mistake. An insider reveals that the record company leaked the track. As Spencer told People magazine, it’s not the single and that it was done as a joke. Actually Spencer, it’s just you that’s the joke.

And while Stefani may be in a rush to get pregnant again, there’s another aspect to life she wishes to put the brakes on: raunch.

After a false alarm last week that she had checked into a treatment facility after her drug overdose, Amy Winehouse along with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil are finally entering rehab.

The Mirror is reporting that Wino and hubby treatment center in America this past weekend to deal with her addiction to heroin and cocaine and his own addictions. The last straw for Amy’s family was when her best friend caught her smoking heroin on Friday night just days after her overdose.

After a fight broke between Wino’s dad and Blake’s parents, the pair eventually relented.

Rehab rarely works the first time. Here’s to hoping it actually sticks… for her sake.

Aretha Franklin called off a planned evening concert in at Detroit’s DTE Energy Music Theater due to temperatures up in the 90s scale. The 65-year old veteran soul sensation said she was “exhausted from the heat and cannot tolerate heat in these extremely high numbers and being in concert simultaneously.”

You have to feel for her. She would have been performing with those conditions and then put under the scorching stage lights. More heat was bound to come.

Australian singer Delta Goodrem is preparing to make a musical comeback after a one year break, vowing to be a better artist. The 22-year-old took time out of the limelight to battle cancer and come to terms with her parents’ divorce, but is hoping for chart domination with new single In This Life. We all have this in conscious inside us to become better than what we currently are and this something we should strive for. But hey, just don’t tell me that she is going make a turn around of her fickle nature what she hasn’t been able to better in so many years what kind of magic wand is she having to do so now. The simplest thing that none of these stars can do is keep their feet firmly planted on the ground and the media and fans do not allow you to stay simple either.

Britney Spears was in a minor car accident last week when the fallen pop star hit a parked car in plain view of photographers. She left the scene of the accident without leaving her contact information for the owner of the other vehicle. We all know that’s illegal so the person whose car was hit just filed a police report on Thursday against the Federline boys’ mom.

First on her legal troubles would be her own mom Lynne regarding visiting her sons. Then there’s ex Kevin who wants full physical custody of the boys and now this. Pfft, serves her right.

News flash! Amy Winehouse was rushed to the hospital yesterday morning after some sort of incident. Reps for the tattooed singer confirmed that she was taken to a London hospital and treated for ‘exhaustion’. She has since been discharged and is now at home with orders of taking ‘complete rest’.

When asked about what brought the health scare on, the rep could only say ‘it came about quickly’ and that the grueling tour schedule is most likely to blame. For now, all her shows have been canceled.

Exhaustion? It came about quickly? It’s what I would call a cover up for alcohol poisoning. Yes?

Britney Spears has decided to pick up what Kelly Clarkson dropped. Jeff Kwatinetz, boss of The Firm and ex-boyfriend of actress Brittany Murphy is an industry bigwig. He was formerly working with singer Kelly Clarkson when she had issues with Clive Davis and in turn dumped Kwatinetz as her management. Britney Spears has now reportedly hired him on to her team. She just recently hired back her cousin Alli Sims who had worked for her previously as an assistant and is now standing in until the position can be permanently filled. I’m not sure if the best manager in the world could get Britney’s career back on track. I guess he’s willing to give it a shot if the dollar signs are big enough. I can’t say that I’d be as bold. Choosing to work for the wrong star could in effect harm a manager’s career. Working for Britney has got to be right up on that level of crazy that working for Michael Jackson would be.

Natalie Imbruglia has got to be one of the luckiest women on the planet. And that’s not just because she’s a successful singer but more because she’s married to the likes of Daniel Johns. When the heck did he get this hot?!

For those not in the know, Daniel Johns is the lead singer of the band Silverchair. He gave concertgoers one heck of a treat when he ripped off his shirt at Lollapalooza in Chicago this past Saturday and showed off the buff bod, sexy chest hair, tattoos and pierced nipples that Natalie sleeps next to.

Last I remember Daniel he was a pretty skinny dude with hair that resembled that of the younger Hansons. Not so hot.
