Lil Wayne won’t be signing any autographs in jail

Monday, March 15th, 2010

Not even a month has passed since the rapper got admitted into his new “home” and already the officials are making life harder and harder for poor Lil Wayne. It looks like he has been prohibited from signing any autographs of publicizing his celebrity there in any way. It looks like they want Lil Wayne to just be a plain old convict just like the others. This is probably a golden opportunity for the rapper to get some really solid, on the field experience about prison life, just think of all the songs he could write afterwards! Lil Wayne would be a fool not to take advantage of it… and he probably won’t.

2010 We Are The World video premieres featuring duet between Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson

Monday, February 15th, 2010

Michael Jackson appears from beyond the grave to sing a duet with sister Janet in the music video for the We Are The World remake.

The Thriller star can be seen alongside Janet on a split screen as footage from the video of the 1985 original is featured next to the new version.

The duet was an ode to the King of Pop, who co-wrote the song with Lionel Richie. It was also a request from Michael’s mum, Katherine, to have the pair sing together on the new track.

Among the voices in the 81-member choir were Pink, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Nick Jonas, Celine Dion, Wyclef Jean, Jeff Bridges, Vince Vaughn, Barbra Streisand, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Hudson, Jamie Foxx, Will.I.Am, Carlos Santana, Enrique Iglesias, Miley Cyrus, Nicole Scherzinger and Nicole Richie.

The stars gathered together at the Henson Studios in Los Angeles just two weeks ago to record the charity remake in support of Haitian earthquake relief.

The 2010 version of We Are The World was directed by Academy award-winning director Paul Haggis.

Katy Perry Rules

Friday, July 11th, 2008

katy-perry.jpg
Katy Perry rules the charts for the third week in a row as the singer’s monster hit is the #1 song in America by topping the Billboard Hot 100. It’s shaping up to be the song of the summer. Other notable chart movement for this week include Rihanna’s ‘Take a Bow’ moving from #4 to #2, Lil Wayne’s ‘Lollipop’ going from #2 to #3, and Miley Cyrus’ ‘7Things’ moving from #16 to #10, mostly due to digital downloads as the song isn’t getting much love on the radio. It looks like this summer is all good for the ladies. Katy better watch out as Rihanna looks like she’s hot on her heels.
