to see something new on the music scene like Lady Gaga, but she will never try to copy her.
As her fans may especially be aware, Kylie Minogue is getting ready to release a new album called “Aphrodite” and the singer is also planning on promoting her new material in the US. This is what Kylie Minogue said on the matter: “I feel like this is my best album yet. I really feel positive about America this time. I sprung into action last year on my tour over there. The fans were so amazing. It was the first time they saw me, but it was like preaching to the converted. I can’t wait to go back and try again.” Yeah, is sure does feel good to be in a country where they behold you as a god… Madonna learned that one quite too. Maybe Kylie Minogue can get a few tips before embarking on this crusade for America.
Even though a rep for the former X Factor judge and singer denied the rumors earlier this week, Dannii Minogue is in fact pregnant. Dannii herself confirmed the happy news on Wednesday via her Twitter saying “Woo hoo I’m gonna be a mummy!” Sister Kylie Minogue also tweeted her excitement for the mom to be saying, “Congratulations to my sister Dannii and her partner Kris on the happy news!!!! I am so excited to be an Aunty again!! WOW WOW WOW!!” Congratulations! I wish for Dannii to have a healthy pregnancy and that there be no complications at all. I wonder if she’ll be having a boy or a girl.
X Factor judge Dannii Minogue was rumored to be planning a comeback but no one knew for sure. But now, I can confirm that it is going to happen as Dannii comes out with the news herself. When asked over Twitter to confirm the rumors, which also stated that she would be collaborating with the Brighton dance duo the Freemasons, the singer tweeted “Yes we are gonna hook up next year!” So I guess that Dannii will be picking her music career up again. I wonder if she has any plans to do a duet with her sister Kylie. I personally think that it would be amazing!
A very ordinary day for the sisters Minogue turned into a family drama, with Kylie Minogue’s handsome Spanish beau having to be rushed off to a local dentist with a mystery ailment.
Far from the footlights, Kylie and Dannii got back to their roots in the unglamorous Melbourne suburb of Box Hill, where they happily spent a hot summer afternoon at a Best Western hotel celebrating their grandmother’s 90th birthday.
The get-together ended after four hours, with the Minogue family heading back to their home in the leafy eastern suburbs and Kylie Minogue and Andrés Velencoso making haste to the dentist in nearby Malvern.
The party of about 60 extended family members began at noon in a function room that featured tables adorned with the Australian flag and balloons.
Dannii and Smith, and her brother Brendan and his partner Rebecca, were among the first to arrive, along with parents Ron and Carol.
Heavy curtains were pulled closed to make sure the event was kept in the family.
Kylie Minogue had arrived ahead of Dannii in Melbourne earlier this week. Dannii was spotted having her bags taken care of in the most chivalrous fashion by her boyfriend Kris Smith.
Sharon Osbourne is to release her first novel and it has sparked rumours it could be about her feud with rival Dannii Minogue.

According to Undercover, Sharon’s new book, Revenge, is about two sisters called Amber and Chelsea Stone, who both want global fame. The girls were close as children but success pulled them apart.

After a lot of speculation, it was announced last Wednesday that X Factor judge Dannii Minogue will be returning for the third season of the show. Kylie Minogue’s sister created a lot of tension when she expressed her jealousy over Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole stealing her thunder. There were even rumors of Dannii getting fired because she no longer served a purpose on the show. Head judge Simon Cowell was pretty determined to have Dannii on the show and the production shoved a $1.7 million contract in her face to prove their point. Her pal Robbie Williams had a house nearby and recommended the area. I’ve seen the pad and it certainly is a palace fit for a pop princess. It even includes a chapel, just in case the singer’s life wasn’t already wholesome enough.
The star is desperate to settle down as she approaches her 40th birthday next month.
In November, Kylie revealed: “I’m looking for a property in the country. I need to do things to make me feel whole.”
Kylie Minogue has asked Jean Paul Gaultier to design the outfits for her upcoming tour.
The renowned French designer has already met with the ‘2 Hearts’ singer, who kicks off her European tour ‘KylieX2008′ in Paris on May 6, to show her his “sophisticated” vision for her stage wardrobe.
Kylie’s designer friend William Barker revealed: “We’re working with Jean Paul Gaultier on the costumes.The outfits are incredibly sophisticated – we are moving on to the next level, which is what she did with her new album ‘X’.”
Kylie wants Jean Paul – who was behind Madonna’s show-stopping outfits for her infamous ‘Blonde Ambition Tour’ in 1990 – to create her a collection of outfits that reflect a more mature stage in her life as she is turning 40 in May.

Kylie has released her 10th studio album with more confidence than ever. And she has scooted off to Germany to promote it.
The miniature singer, most recently in the news for being humiliated by a saucy statue created by Madame Tussauds, was cleared last year of the horrible disease; Breast Cancer, which knocked her down in 2005.
And now as she promotes her new album X, she says, “I think it’s not so difficult to write a decent song but to write a great song is a difficult thing. I like the challenge of trying to find that and at the very least, writing something that I enjoy singing and all people love. It took me a number of years to find my confidence to do that but now it’s just part of me.”
What a trooper. I remember listening to Kylie when I was a kid and she is still going strong; with the right attitude and music that pleases the new generations as the times move on. You go girl!
Sad news for those that have been looking forward to seeing Kylie Minogue in concert. The Australian singer has nixed plans for a world tour next year.
Kylie recently overcame a battle with breast cancer so it’s understandable that she’s concerned that the rigors of touring would take too much of a toll on her health. On the advice of her doctors, she has decided that she will not go on the road.
Kylie has released a statement regarding the matter saying “The tour is not going to happen, it is far too soon. I can’t do it next year. It kind of breaks my heart because that is what I’m in this business for. Not being able to go ahead with my plans is a real downer. Every woman has to face up to new priorities, near the top is health. I take my health very seriously but not obsessively. Everything is about pacing yourself.”
Former Stone Roses star Ian Brown has criticized Kylie Minogue’s musical abilities, branding the pop star a “devil doll” The singer claims Minogue is not talented enough to have been awarded the gong for Q Idol at the Q Awards in London on Monday. Is he schizo? He says she’s a devil doll, that he doesn’t find her cute, and that she isn’t one of the great minds making music, then says he LOVES her…but then says he doesn’t think she should’ve gotten an award. If anyone has problems, it’s this guy. You off your zoloft, dude? And though Kylie doesn’t make intellectual music like sting, and U2, etc., she is a great entertainer in her own right. She’s beautiful, and she and her music are fun. Who are YOU, Mr. Johnny come lately, to think you have the right to criticize her?
