Kim Kardashian’s restraining order against alleged stalker made permanent
Thursday, February 4th, 2010TV reality star Kim Kardashian’s restraining order against an alleged stalker was made permanent in a Los Angeles court today.
Last week, Kardashian filed legal papers against Dennis Shaun Brown, 25, who she alleged had bombarded her with messages on Twitter and had turned up at promotional events in a bid to meet her.
Kardashian, 29, also claimed that Brown had threatened her boyfriend NFL star Reggie Bush.
She was granted a temporary restraining order on 22 January, which ordered Brown to stay 500 yards away from her.
In a hearing today, from which Kardashian and Brown were both absent, a judge ruled that the restraining order be made permanent until 2013.
Despite the original restraining order, Kardashian was so frightened for her safety that Bush hired bodyguards to protect her.
The New Orleans Saints football star has made sure that six bodyguards now accompany Kardashian everywhere she goes, according to reports.
