The Jonas Brothers were recently spotted shooting their music video for the single ‘Lovebug’ in San Pedro, California. Nick, Joe and Kevin were also joined by Camilla Belle who makes an appearance in the video. A love interest perhaps? Check out their old school duds in this still shot. I wonder what the video’s theme is all about. This is also the set of t he video where they were spotted coming out of their wardrobe trailer covered by a blanket and umbrella to keep details under wraps. I guess part of it has been revealed. I can’t wait to see what it’s all about.
The Jonas Brothers have reportedly filmed scenes for their new Disney Channel TV show in Los Angeles recently. Too bad that was false. The band of brothers was actually filming their new ‘Lovebug’ music video. The video is for the second official single off of their third studio album ‘A Little Bit Longer’. The Jonas Brothers were spotted entering their trailer for a quick costume change. To keep the production details under wraps, production assistants covered the brothers with umbrellas and blankets as they traveled from their trailer to the music video set.
Demi Lovato has a new single! Check out the track “Get Back,” a rocking song off of her debut album, released on September 23rd. Two Worlds features six songs co-written and co-produced by the Jonas Brothers, and the title track which was written for her best friend Selena Gomez. “Get Back” is available for download on iTunes now.
The Jonas Brothers had quite a few busy days after the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. They had to make responses to the jokes made by host Russell Brand about their virginity and wearing purity rings. Going into the night, it seemed that the brothers were able to completely push any awkwardness away as they were more preoccupied by extreme want of meeting Britney Spears. Kevin said before the show “We really hope we get to meet her! That would be an honor. You want to pull for Britney and hope for the best!” Joe also revealed the girl in him by saying “She was the first CD I ever bought, so it would be cool!” Nick was also heard excitedly exclaiming “I wanna meet her!” They finally got their wish at the end of the night.
Everyone knows how Miley Cyrus was bitter after she and Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers broke up. She even got more bitter when he started dating fellow Disney star Selena Gomez. But it looks like Miley is moving on as she was seen leaving Hannah Montana co-star Cody Linley’s place in Los Angeles late at night last week. The pair tried to avoid photographers and seemed to be enjoying their time together. No one’s sure if they’re dating or not though. But after such a publicized falling out with Nick, I guess even the slut deserves to be able to move on.
The Jonas Brothers were pictured at New York City’s Yankee Stadium last weekend. It almost seems like they have no plans of leaving New York. The band of brothers got to talk some about the VMAs and while they couldn’t reveal just what song they’ll be performing, they did say that the song would be their new single. They also talked about their VMA nomination for Video of the Year. When asked who should win for the award other than themselves, Kevin quickly said “Chris Brown’s ‘Forever’… or Britney’s ‘Piece of Me’. She seems to be having a really great comeback and that’s awesome.”
Little fan girls are running out of Jonas Brothers to fantasize about. Rolling Stone magazine revealed that 15-year old Nick is taken by the lovely Selena Gomez and now it seems that the dreamy 18-year old Joe is taken too. Taylor Swift was spotted backstage at the Jonas Brothers concert in Charlotte, North Carolina on Tuesday. The country sweetheart is said to be really good friends with Joe. And we all know what really good friends mean in the world of celebrities. But you do have to admit that they make a pretty hot pair. They could be the Rihanna and Chris Brown of the pop/country world.
The Jonas Brothers made an appearance on MuchMusic on Thursday to chat and promote their tour kick off in Toronto, Canada. Fans were lining up as early as Tuesday for the afternoon question and answer session on MuchMusic. At that session, they were asked about how they stay grounded in difficult situations. Kevin replied “The way you come through a situation is how your true character is tested.” The young man has some wise words on him. If you weren’t able to be at the Q&A session, you can catch the band of brothers on their North American tour which will wrap up on August 31 in Burlington, Vermont.

Nick, Joe, and Kevin were on hand Wednesday for the NYC premiere of their Disney channel original movie Camp Rock. The movie is set to air on Disney next Friday, June 20th.
Joe Jonas plays Shane who is the lead singer for a band called Connect Three. Nick plays Nate, a vocalist and guitarist, while Kevin plays Jason, the lead guitarist. Wow, they are really stretching the parts there!
The Jonas Brothers were spotted as they filmed the music video for their single ‘Kung Fu Grip’ on Thursday in San Pedro, California. 20-year old Kevin, 18-year old Joe and 15-year old Nick were seen dressed in a number of outfits for the video including karate uniforms and headbands. Nick was also seen dressed in a red wet suit while riding a speedboat. His scene had him jump out of the boat and fire a net gun at 2 other guys. Well that sounds interesting. However, some people are saying that the video might not be for ‘Kung Fu Grip’ but rather for ‘Burning Up’.
The Jonas Brothers were spotted in Los Angeles just as they got finished running a couple of errands on Tuesday. Mark your calendars now as the band of brothers consisting of 20-year old Kevin, 18-year old Joe and 15-year old Nick will be releasing their new album called ‘A Little Bit Longer’ on August 12. They recently talked to Popstar about their upcoming ‘Burnin’ Up’ tour where Nick said “We’re definitely talking about having some fire and maybe some explosions.” He even jokingly added “We’re going to [swallow swords of fire]!” Are we going to see a concert or a circus act?

The trio wear metal silver bands each tied with a promise that they’ll stay pure until marriage. 15-year old Nick’s ring was made at Disney World. 15-year old Joe’s ring is silver and is adorned with a cross. 20-year old Kevin’s ring is the ultimate oxymoron. He has a punk-rock purity ring from Tiffany as it’s covered with studs.
The Jonas Brothers pulled a fast one again by showing up for their concert ticket sales in Dallas on Saturday. The band of brothers surprised their throngs of screaming teenybopper fans by playing on an awning above the NOKIA Theater along with camera crews of ‘Ellen’ in tow.
After their surprise show, the boys were nice enough to stop on their way out to shake hands with some fans. Isn’t it nice to have some positive role models for the kids? Let’s just hope that they wouldn’t grow up to be like Britney Spears. And let’s hope that the boys would stay cute forever.
They’ve worked hard all through 2007 and have already started busting their cute butts at the start of 2008. Now, they’re set to reap their rewards. The Jonas Brothers just signed a two-year, multi-million dollar worldwide deal with live entertainment promoter Live Nation.
20-year old Kevin, 18-year old Joe and 15-year old Nick are set to play more than 140 theaters and arenas around the world during the span of the agreement. If it’s any indication of what the three brothers could get from their deal, Madonna signed with Live Nation back in October and mad out with a reported $120 million.
If only Mariah Carey wasn’t on vacation in Aspen. I’m sure she would have had a mental breakdown when she heard just how one of her songs got murdered. And by someone the whole country adores too!
Miley Cyrus did the worst cover of ‘All I Want for Christmas’ on Disney’s ABC parade special. It was just awful. I can’t believe she could do that to Mariah… and us! At the very least, the Jonas Brothers did a lovely performance of ‘Girl of My Dreams’. It was lipsynched though. But it was still better than practically killing off the Christmas spirit!
The Jonas Brothers have really hit the big time. The musical trio of brothers Kevin, Nick and Joe were seen attending the 2007 Jingle Ball pre-event at The Hammerstein Ballroom on Friday in New York City.
Another mark of their success is that they were recently announced to be performers during ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Even 2008’ along with Carrie Underwood and Miley Cyrus. They will have live performances from Times Square with the show airing on Monday, December 31 on ABC. What a hot way to rock in the New Year – an American Idol and two big names from Disney.
Parents everywhere are breathing a collective sigh of relief. Maybe Christmas isn’t ruined after all.
It has been announced that Miley Cyrus, a.k.a. Hannah Montana, is extending her extremely popular tour and adding 14 more shows. The shows begin January 11 in Detroit and go until January 31 in Miami.
Disney says it was an overwhelming response from fans that made them decide to add the additional shows. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the fact that it’s a huge revenue maker.
One downfall - the Jonas Brothers, who are touring with Miley, will not be on the added shows. Instead, Aly & AJ will join Miley from January 11 to January 24, with another “special guest” appearing for the remainder of the shows.
