Thursday, August 14th, 2008 As much as her role fits her, Miley Cyrus wasn’t actually Disney’s first choice for the role of Hannah Montana. Singer and aspiring actress JoJo told TV’s Extra that the Mouse House approached her for the role but she turned it down. She said “Yeah, they [Disney] offered me the role…[But] it’s not really what I see for myself. No regrets. No regrets at all.” Who’s willing to call her on her bluff? I bet she’s having regrets. Hannah Montana would have made her huge! Instead, she’s doing Lifetime’s ‘True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet’ in which she plays a hard partying “it” girl who overdoses. Did anyone even know that her show existed?
