New Jewel Music

One of my all-time favorite singer has dropped a new single, which also happens to be a featured song on the soundtrack of the all-star ‘Valentine’s Day’ film. Jewel’s ‘Stay Here Forever’ finds the Alaska native doing what she does best – singing pretty songs with pretty music in in that beautiful voice of hers. An even though her new single is supposed to be a country record, I wouldn’t at all be surprised to hear the song on pop radio too. It’s such a sweet love song. Everyone will have a hard time to not like it or even deny liking it.

Jewel has a Stalker

A Wisconsin man was arrested last week after going to the Texas ranch of singer Jewel’s and her rodeo champ hubby Ty Murray, two days in a row saying that he was on a “mission from God”. After being reprimanded by the land owner, the man returned the next day to the main house on the ranch with a pocket knife and a dog with him. The police were called and he did not resist arrest. It is unknown if the couple was home at the time. The trespasser has since been charged with a felony of stalking and is being held in prison.

    Jewel in Good Spirits

    Singer Jewel injured her knee last week while rehearsing for her Dancing with the Stars debut which led many to think that she would be dropping out of the competition. However, one day after, she let everyone know that she was fully dedicated to getting better and performing. Jewel recently updated her blog to give some good news. She said that she went to her physical therapist and is feeling much better. According to her doctors, if she gets enough rest, she’ll be in good shape to compete. I’m glad to know that she’s doing ok and that she has the fire in her to compete. Good luck Jewel!
