Robert Pattinson has revealed that he wants to release an album later this year but he’s having some trouble balancing his music career and acting. The ‘Twilight’ actor said “I want to do an album at the end of the year. All my friends are recording albums and I’m very annoyed about it. I can play the guitar and piano, but I can’t do two things at once. I don’t know how people like Jennifer Lopez can act and then also sing. Hopefully I’ll find some time to get it together.” Who knew that he was actually a fan of JLo? I can envision the hysteria for him as a singer now.

Jennifer Lopez better start working hard at finding a new record label as a source recently announced that the Latina singer and Sony Music Epic Records have parted ways. There are some contradictions to the reasons why though. Some say that the split was amicable, stating that JLo had finished her contract and was not ready to move elsewhere. Some are saying that Sony dropped her after disagreements over her 7th studio album, which has reportedly been cancelled and will not be released. That’s such a tough break. At least she still has a movie to fall back on – unless that tanks too.

Estefans Re-Record We Are the World in Spanish

Emilio and Gloria Estefan will reportedly be adapting and re-recording ‘We are the World’ in Spanish to help Haiti relief efforts. The new version, called ‘Somos El Mundo’, has been completely translated and the original writer Lionel Richie has given his seal of approval, claiming that it captures the spirit and message of the original. The recording will take place this Friday and a large number of Latin singers including the likes of Ricky Martin, Paulina Rubio, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Enrique Iglesias, Jon Secada and Gloria have all been invited to participate. Let’s all hope that they do participate and once gain bring light to the cause.

It seems that Jennifer Lopez had quite a performance at the American Music Awards on Sunday night. The singer apparently took a small tumble after jumping off of the back of one of her dancers. Even though the sequence wasn’t seen on the West Coast, Jennifer Lopez didn’t try to hide and instead joked about it on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show the next morning saying: “Did I trip a little bit? I don’t even remember. Yeah, I meant to do that. That was part of the choreography. The measure of things isn’t what happens when you fall, it’s how you recover when you fall.” Such depth, such passion… no wonder Jennifer Lopez always gets such good ratings. Nobody stands a chance against her impeccable choreography.

Even after trying to what appears to have been an intimidation, Jennifer Lopez’s lawyers have failed to stop her ex-husband, Ojani Noa, from going through with his plans for releasing a “mockumentary” about their life together. It seems that Jennifer Lopez is still in for a screened whooping as Ojani Noa’s production partner, Ed Meyer, clearly states that there are no legal grounds for them to halt production of their project: “The 2007 injunction prevents Noa from licensing, disseminating, distribution… any book manuscript or other written materials which contain private or intimate details about Lopez or Noa’s relationship with Lopez. But this is a 100 percent parody, and, as such, is not impacted by the injunction.” This reminds of that old saying: “The show must go on!” And it most likely will…

Jennifer Lopez has a new fragrance called ‘Sunkissed Glow’

Jennifer Lopez has a new fragrance coming out called ‘Sunkissed Glow’. The ads for the fragrance were photographed by Peter Lindbergy on the island Islamorada in Florida. The new scent is described as a flowery, fruity and sensual scent with notes of orange blossom, waterlilies and passion flowers. There’s also hints of ember, musk and cashmere wood. ‘Sunkissed Glow’ will hit European stores February 2009. There’s no US release date that has been set yet though. What? Is the US not good enough for her new fragrance? Why was her homeland looked over for a release? Maybe she’s planning on moving.

Whether it’s a sign of the times or just plain capitalist idea, you can take it for what it’s worth. Jennifer Lopez has never been shy to put her name on whatever product. Now, she’s putting her name on a USB stick by releasing her new album ‘Brave’ in one.

The typical plastic USB drive is out for JLo but in comes a classy block of African Mahogany or African Blackwood to encase her singing. The USB stick also comes complete with an autograph. It doesn’t come cheap though because the techie styled showcasing of her album is available for $80.

I did say a few days ago that Jennifer Lopez’s new album ‘Brave’ was expected to bring in low numbers for its first week out. Apparently, even that was an understatement. To make cut it short, the album bombed big time.

JLo’s new album failed to make it to the Top Ten in the US and came in at #12 by selling just 53,000 units. All of the Latin pop star’s six previous studio albums, even her Spanish language one, broke into the Top 10 when they debuted.

LeAnn Rimes, Sara Evans, Kid Rock, Bruce Springsteen, Rascal Flatts and even Josh Groban who released a Christmas album in October beat her to the Top 10. Ouch!

Jennifer Lopez’s husband Marc Anthony is struggling to keep quiet about his wife’s top-secret pregnancy, as new photos seem to clearly show the singer/actress is with child. I am now going to give you guys a new quote that I read in some paper not long ago, I also would like to categorically tell you that if anyone is hurt by these comments they are not mine and please take it light heartedly and if you have a problem just read it and shut up. Here we go now, The dialogue brings to mind a celebrated Indian poet and former member of Indian Parliament, Harindra Nath Chattopadhyay’s dirge, under the rubric of curd seller’ song: My wife gave birth to a baby, the baby is fine, I hope it is mine. Now this not just for Marc Anthony but all those husbands, who ever make such a shit comment of not confirming their wives pregnancy.

Singer Marc Anthony and his stunning wife Jennifer Lopez have decided to tour together.
Anthony, who recently revealed that he and J.Lo, as the sensuous singer is popularly called, made a vow to each other on their wedding day that they would avoid, working separately, will go out for a road trip, which is still to be finalized. It is something she’s always wanted to do, but she’s never had the time… So, yes, we’re seriously talking about going out this year (and) putting together an amazing show with just her and me.” This is great the world will get to see both of them perform on the same platform together. Fans will be elated and excited to see them both and the sales register could well be ticking once the dates and venues are announced. This could be real fun for the couple as J Lo has never toured with him before and will provide them the opportunity to explore the world together.

Just months after his longtime girlfriend gave birth to twin girls, Sean “Diddy” Combs announced Tuesday that the pair have split up.
A publicist for the 37-year-old rap mogul confirmed that he and model Kim Porter were no longer together. On Dec. 21, Porter gave birth to daughters D’Lila Star and Jessie James; the couple also have a son together.
The move comes a few months after the two publicly proclaimed their love for one another in a cover story for Essence magazine, which detailed their turbulent history: They already had a son, Christian, when Combs began his high-profile romance with Jennifer Lopez. That romance ended in 2001.
In the December article, Porter said Combs simply fell for a “big booty and a smile” and she knew he would be back. Though she took him to court to increase her child support payments in 2002, Combs eventually reunited with her.
But while Combs told Essence he was an “ex-player,” he admitted that he wasn’t ready to marry Porter and even wondered, “Do you really think that God meant for a man to have just one wife?”
Though Combs said “this is the most monogamous I’ve ever been in my life,” rumors persisted about other women so much so that actress and friend Sienna Miller recently took pains to deny that they were a couple.

Love don’t cost anything is something that Jennifer Lopez might have told us, but in the video for her next single, “Me Haces Falta” — from her Spanish-language debut album, Como Ama una Mujer — the singer’s character definitely learned that there’s a price to pay for a lover scorned. “[It's] basically about someone who is missing someone so much and has done something so wrong to the person that they know they can’t fix it,” Lopez explained last week from the Los Angeles set of the video. “So they just hate themselves right in that moment, they can’t stand [it], they regret everything that they did and they wish they could change things. It’s basically about missing somebody terribly. This is so true, when a person there around you we sometimes just don’t care for the relationship so much and when the same person is out of your life you are left fond memories.
