Jay-Z Finally Visits the President

Monday, March 8th, 2010

During his concert in Washington DC last week, Jay-Z told an excited crowd that he finally got to sit down with a huge fan of his – President Barack Obama. An official even confirmed that the rapper stopped over at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave before his show and got the chance to talk briefly with the President of the US. I bet that it was thrill for the both of them. Congratulations to the music mogul for finally finding the free time to visit the President. I wonder what they talked about. Maybe he also invited Jay-Z to have a show in the White House.

Rihanna is Glamour’s Woman of the Year

Friday, November 13th, 2009

Rihanna recently made a public appearance in New York when she accepted the Glamour Woman of the Year Award. After a touching video showing clips of the singer’s career and volunteer efforts, the Barbadian beauty took to the stage to accept her award. She said “It was a real honor to be named Glamour’s Woman of the Year, especially because I think of myself as just becoming a woman. I just turned 21 this year. Just to be mentioned in this group of women is overwhelming. I love being a part of a night where we’re celebrating women and such strong women.” Rihanna also took time to thank several people, including her record label, Jay-Z, her mother and her grandmother.

Stairs good for the bottom, says Beyonce

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

Beyonce says that she is shy and insecure about the curvy figure many admire.

The 27-year-old singer laid her shyness to not having a “normal social life” growing up.

She said: “Sometimes, I get curvy in the wrong places too much.”

Married to rapper Jay-Z, the singer revealed that she keeps her bottom in shape through stairs workouts.

She said, “After New Year, I do stairs. They are the best thing for bum cheeks!”

Beyonce is LA Confidential

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

Beyonce took the March 2009 cover of Niche Media’s Los Angeles Confidential magazine. She looked hot in a white Herve Leger by Max Azria swimsuit. The 27-year old singer and actress admitted in the interview that while she sings songs to help women get through break ups, there is no one who does that for her, saying that she needed it. When she was asked whose songs help her get through heartache the ways her songs do for her fans, she said “Well, fortunately I haven’t had any break-ups! This is my first relationship.” Beyonce was referring to her highly-guarded marriage to rapper Jay-Z. Then why would she say that she needs songs to identify with if she hasn’t had any heartaches?

Beyonce makes the big bucks

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

The pop star has recently been placed at the top of an earnings list in Forbes magazine with rich young people. She topped off Justin Timberlake by making 80 million dollars this year. This is no surprise as she and Jay-Z were also declared Hollywood’s richest couple in a list made up by the same magazine, with earnings of 160 million dollars this year. No wonder there’s so much balance in the economy lately. But of course, who can blame the sums, after all, they do contribute to society in a very essential way, they do deserve compensation.
