Hilary Duff recently sat down for an interview for the new issue of Maxim magazine. She talks about being a virgin, some lap dances and even her image in one way or the other. She said “You know what? I was quoted saying I was a virgin, but I absolutely did not say that. That’s nobody’s business but my own. … I’ve been accused by the press of giving lap dances at clubs. I mean, little ol’ me? It’s shocking… And they’re so descriptive about these lap dances. I don’t even know how to do a lap dance!” I guess she’s still having trouble with transitioning from a kid to a serious entertainer.

Hilary Duff has recently dropped the first single from her upcoming Greatest Hits album. The song is called ‘Reach Out’ and it features a sizeable sample from Depeche Mode’s ‘Personal Jesus’. I really like it! The song probably won’t get much play in America but it should do quite well for Hilary in Europe and overseas as it has that Euro pop and dance sound. Hey, if you can’t find fame in one side of the world because Miley Cyrus has taken over, go for other places. It’s a smart move if you ask me. Hilary is way better than her anyway.

Hilary Duff threw on a killer pair of cork-colored boots to spend her entire Tuesday afternoon at a recording studio in Burbank, California. It looks like the more successful of the Duff sister is getting back in music mode and is back to recording a new album after making a film, ‘War Inc’. Later in the evening, Hilary ate hearty at Mr. Chow with her hockey player boyfriend Mike Comrie. I wonder if any of her new songs will be about her beau just like some songs from her last album were about ex-boyfriend and now Nicole Richie baby daddy Joel Madden.

Hilary Duff made a big no-no for singers recently. At a concert in Mexico this past weekend, the singer/actress began singing into the microphone while it was still turned off. Her ‘backing track’ came on later and it was all good.

The video has already been posted on YouTube and you can check it out. There’s an obvious delay between her opening her mouth and “singing” and the track coming on. At the very least she didn’t do a monkey dance. That would have made the whole thing really obvious. She would have been booed offstage much like Ashlee Simpson was back in her SNL snafu.

Why settle for a guy that would give you jewelry or clothes on your birthday when there are guys out there who give some hot wheels? That’s exactly the guy that Mike Comrie is for his singer/actress girlfriend Hilary Duff.

Hilary Duff would turn 20 on September 28 but her hockey player boyfriend gave her an early birthday gift this week. Mike told her that he had left a gift for Hilary at the garage of sister Haylie’s house. Hilary told People that she was shocked by the gift.

The teen queen was given a $100,000 Mercedes-Benz G-class SUV by Mike. Hilary goes on to say that it’s perfect!
