Hilary Duff signs up to write young adult fiction
Wednesday, March 10th, 2010Gossip Girl actress Hilary Duff, 22, is extending her talents to novel writing.
Duff has signed with top New York publisher Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers to write a series of young adult novels, beginning with one titled Elixir.
The first novel will tell the story of the worldwide adventures of a photojournalist named Clea Raymond and be released in October this year, ninemsn.com reports.
Duff, who is set to appear in The Story Of Bonnie And Clyde this year, is also planning a non-fiction book about children coping with divorce. She is the daughter of a producer who separated from her husband, inspiring her songs Stranger and Gypsy Woman.
