Reality star Audrina Patridge says her Hills co-star Heidi Montag’s singing career is “disappointing”.

Patridge, 24, has suggested that Montag, 22, is not taking her singing work seriously enough.

The wife of Spencer Pratt performed her new single Body Language at the recent Miss Universe pageant held in the Bahamas.

Audrina said: “I feel like Heidi, you know, she’s doing it for fun, where a lot of singers and people, they work their ass off, and they actually have amazing voices and they can really sing and perform.”

She added: “I feel like a lot of people don’t get to experience what Heidi has, going on in front of a billion people and performing on TV. I just don’t think she’s taking it that serious, and that’s what’s kind of disappointing for me, for music lovers out there.”

Despite Audrina’s opinions, Heidi’s husband Spencer has recently hinted that his wife could be the modern day Michael Jackson.

Heidi Montag was pretty bad when she performed her song ‘Body Language’ at the Miss Universe competition last Sunday. Actually, she wasn’t as bad as I originally thought. ‘The Hills’ star lip synched her way through her performance and was totally trying to give off a Britney Spears vibe from the MTV VMAs in 2000. Heidi is no Britney though. But hey, I give her props for trying. However, Heidi’s attempt still qualifies as embarrassingly bad. I guess the pageant organizers were trying to save up by not hiring some big name artist to perform instead of Heidi. I hope they realized what a big mistake that was.

Reality TV star and wannabe singer Heidi Montag will perform during the 2009 Miss Universe Pageant on August 23 on NBC. The 22-year old attention whore will perform the song ‘Turn Ya Head’ off of her debut album, ‘Unleashed’. Other performers for the pageant include Flo Rida, Kelly Rowland and French DJ David Guetta. The Miss Universe Pageant will be co-hosted by Access Hollywood host Billy Bush and ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ star Claudia Jordan. I get the other performers but how the heck did Heidi get involved in all of this? What where the organizers thinking? I highly doubt she’d sing live.

The set of earrings, necklaces and bracelets were supposed to be on-loan but Spencer Pratt has bought them as a gift to his wife.

While there are doubts about the legality and the authenticity of the wedding considering the commitment ceremony staged by Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt in Cabo San Lucas Mexico in November sources said this one’s for real and not just for the sake of “The Hills” ratings. However, there are still doubts about the reality of the reality TV stars’ wedding since the whole “The Hills” ensemble was in attendance during the wedding.

Heidi Montag must be thinking that if she floods the internet with her music that people will start to see her as a singer. I’m not entirely sure if that’s working for her. At the rate she’s going with all these leaks, she might as well just release her album for free. ‘The Hills’ star has released yet another new song. This most recent leak is called ‘Black Out’ and it was written by ‘Too Many Walls’ singer Cathy Dennis. It’s an ok song. I just think that it’s too digitally manipulated to be able to even tell if it’s still Heidi singing.

Well, it’s not official yet but considering the sound, it’s not that far off. Heidi Montag has released a new single and, as much as I would hate to admit it, it’s actually really good. If you didn’t know it was her, you would be totally in love with it after first hearing it. But since it’s Heidi, you’d be all skeptical and then just can’t help but love the song. If you could get past who’s singing it, ‘You Found Me’, a ska/pop banger that reminds me of No Doubt’s classic ‘Bathwater’, could be a big hit. I’m even willing to admit that I love this song already.

The 21-year-old stunning sensation Heidi Montag has recently released her latest music video “Overdosin”. In the nice video, the reality starlet is playing an ‘80s aerobics instructor and she is dancing around in lycra, legwarmers and a sweatband.

She also told that the pop song, “is about when you fall in love with someone. [About] how I feel about Spencer and my relationship.”

On a question if her next single would be inspired by her wedding, she jokingly replied, “I’m waiting for the ring to make that song.”

Heidi Montag and fellow star Spencer Pratt have also volunteered to take over the MTV reality hit “The hills” in next season, if Lauren Conrad makes a decision to quit. She told the reporters, “I think that maybe Lauren is tired of [being on the show], but we’re just beginning. We’re not even remotely sick of it.”

Heidi Montag has a really great PR team working for her. Producer RedOne, who worked on her new single ‘Fashion, recently had an interview where he basically kissed the ground Heidi walked on. He spoke of Heidi’s new single saying “”It sounds amazing. The song is all about fashion and all about her – shopping, clothes, her whole aura. She’s really taken it to the next level…. We are working on more [songs], and it’s crazy, shocking stuff that will surprise everybody.” When asked if Heidi can sing, he said “Definitely. She’s really good, and I love her personality and the way it comes through in a song. She makes you believe it. She’s great in the studio.” Would you believe that?

Heidi Montag’s video for her single ‘Higher’ has been released. And what can I say? It was everything I expected and much less. The video was shot, produced and directed by Heidi’s ex-fiance and still-boyfriend Spencer Pratt. If you’re a perv, this video is going to be good for you. There are two things worth noticing.

Spencer and Heidi need to stick to whatever it is that they do best. I don’t know what that is exactly. In fact, I’m pretty sure that they don’t either. But whatever it is, it’s not music videos. Why can’t the earth just open up and swallow them whole?

It is being reported that Heidi Montag’s first single ‘Higher’ is on its way in just a few short weeks. It will be out with a digital-only release on February 5, the same time that the video produced by Spencer Pratt comes out. Oh boy.

I don’t really know what Heidi’s musical style is like but if her musical influences are anything to go by, it should be a fascinating tableaux. In a release, she sited being influenced by Jesus, Theron Feemster and Britney Spears. There’s a pink elephant in the room and a joke to be made about ‘The Hills’ being alive with the sound of Heidi’s music.
