Joel Madden felt like he won Oscar with Nicole Richie on his arm

Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden said he felt like he won an Oscar with fiancee Nicole Richie on his arm.

The 30-year-old took his famous other-half to the 82nd Academy Awards as he was the official Oscars in-house DJ.

On his way to the event, he wrote on Twitter: “Here we go. Gonna go get down at the Oscars. See ya after the show!”

He then posted a picture of his fiancee and said: “And check out my date. Yes she’s mine. Feel like a winner. Feels like I won an oscar.”

Madden couldn’t hide his excitement at being in the company of so many stars and later said: “this show is sick! I got the best seat in the house I’m lovin it. Just saw my buds marc anthony and jenifer lopez man they look great.”

Great daddy Joel Madden

Well, he might not be much into housework, as recently accused by his new wife, Nicole Richie, but when it comes to parenting, it seems that the Good Charlotte rocker really knows his stuff. When asked about kids, Joel Madden gave a very simple reply: “I love kids, I love working with kids, I love being around kids.” Having a month-old son apparently only assures that Joel Madden gets even more practice at being a great daddy… still, he should take heed with the housework, a great daddy is no good if he always makes mommy angry, doesn’t do well for the atmosphere.

Joel Madden reveals daughter Harlow is fan of Obama family

Good Charlotte star Joel Madden has revealed his daughter Harlow is a fan of the Obama family and can point them out by name.

Joel, 30, and girlfriend Nicole, 27, are parents to one-year-old daughter Harlow and expect their second child later this year.

Joel admitted that his daughter "blew" his mind by pointing out America’s first family.

He wrote on Twitter: "Happy B day Mr President. Harlow can Knows You, your wife and your daughters all by name. I swear. Today she pointed all of you out by name."

He later added: "Harlow knowing the entire Obama family by name blew my mind today."

Joel Madden will become a father again

The rocker from Good Charlotte is supposedly expecting a boy with his wife, Nicole Richie… or so the rumor goes. A source revealed the following information about Joel Madden’s upcoming bundle of joy: “Joel bought water-based paint for the nursery and – surprise, surprise – it’s blue! Plus, Nicole recently ordered some plush animals and infant toys, and everything just happens to be blue.” Oh yeah, that’s a definite sign that it’s going to be a boy… no doubt about it! If Joel Madden and Nicole Richie had bought something that was black or maybe an infernal red, perhaps we could’ve assumed that it was going to be a demon spawn. But no need to fear: it is a boy… or leastways, it will be.
