I hear Amy Winehouse is in the market for a new wardrobe designer. Ha! I’m guessing Kanye’s not lining up for the job.

Kanye is, however, hooking up with Louis Vuitton to create a new line of shoes for men and women. Looking at Kanye’s style, I’m betting those will be some hot shoes. He’s also working with Takashi Murakami, a lead artist.

Also in November, Kanye is set to launch a clothing line to go with the jewelry line he already has.

Trampy Amy Winehouse is launching her own brand of clothes and make-up so fans can copy her unique style. The news emerged yesterday as Amy, 24, modelled the look — including a leopard-print scarf atop her matted barnet and cig stuck to her lip.

The range will include hairspray, but the signature piece is set to be the heavy liquid eyeliner the Rehab singer has made famous. She has a meeting scheduled for later this week to discuss the project with fashion and cosmetics experts.

A pal revealed yesterday: “Amy’s style has been copied by girls around the country and there’s a lot of money to be made. It’s a very distinctive look. She wants to bring out a range of cosmetics and fashion products. There could be hairspray, head scarves, liquid eyeliner, perfume. All the things that are distinctive of her look.”

A fashion industry source added: “I think this stuff would sell very well in London. She has become a fashion icon despite not always looking too fresh.”

Well, it looks that way anyway. Thanks to the Rambert Dance Company in London, fans can still go see her “one more time”.

The group is currently putting on a 14 minute show based on the struggling singer’s roller coaster life. They show everything from when she was on top to when she shaved her head to when she was wheeled out of her home on a stretcher.

But apart from bitterness, Pete actually has a great point about relevance and acceptance in there. It’s a good read.

Singers need more than the spotlight though, and even ones who have sold over 200 million albums still want to feel like they have something to offer. So she’s left the lights of Vegas behind, stepped back into the real world and in fairness to her, brought along a clutch of songs that actually may change a few people’s opinion.

The highlights are two very different songs. In the power ballad corner, she shows off her larynx with a belting take on Heart’s endless queen of soft rock, “Alone”. Up against it for the title is the more contemporary “Shadow Of Love”, a song with enough disco and fun for Kylie to sing it.

Taking Chances doesn’t quite do what the title suggests, but it does push Celine Dion to the edge of her comfort zone and show an artist who not only wants to remain relevant but is prepared to work hard to stay that way.

Gwen Stefani was seen leaving her New York City hotel early Friday morning with her 17-month old son Kingston. This was the day after she attended the Black Ball 2007 which was held to honor the work of Bono for the AIDS movement.

Gwen performed at the event and did a duet with Alicia Keys. Rolling Stone reports that their performance was “an elegiac version of ‘Sunday, Bloody Sunday” which was originally done by Bono’s band U2. The magazine also says the Alicia’s vocals lingered in the air and was long, haunting and elegant.

The song was haunting by itself, now I’m curious how Alicia made it even more so.

Paul McCartney and Heather Mills came together in court Thursday to continue the business of splitting up. I know I am going to get alot of hate posts for this, but honestly, I am as tired of hearing about this long drawn out divorce as I am of hearing about Princess Diana’s death and the ongoing long drawn out investigation into her alleged “murder”. Folks, Paul and Heather need to get it over with and we need to let Princess Di do just that, die already. Sorry if that sounds cold but how long are we going to go on and on about Di and the accident? I am surprised they are not investigating Elvis’s death! Let these people rest. Yeah size does matter for everyone who’s in the public eye, you’ve got a certain image that you have built up over the years and then that’s what you have to maintain. Anything less or more is so severely scrutinized by the media that either you are virtually labeled a skinny or a fat ass. “[I’m] really coming from the soul with it, and what I was going through at different times in my life and what possibly brought it about for myself,” she says of the yet untitled book. Its mostly a fight with your mind, either you accept your new heavy looks and get on with life but that can have catastrophic effects on your career as an artist or you do something about it and live on to tell the world about or better write a book on it and sell it to the world as a new age dieting guru and that’s Janet has chosen to be.

Latino pop hunk Ricky Martin is stunned he has been awarded a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. The singer will accept the accolade for his contribution to music in California on October 16th. Let me state my view on his Star at Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. He is a fantastic performer and great with the girls as his looks are stunning and his moves on the dance floor make him look like a demigod. But even this does not mean that he deserves a Star, I think looks and fame should not be the criteria to be awarded a star, achievements in one’s career in their respective fields should be the sole and only criteria to be awarded a star. And the fact that Ricky himself is stunned by the adulation shows that he knows that he fully doesn’t deserve it. But now that he has been awarded the star he can be proud of it.

Pop star Shakira is donating $40 million from Latin America for Solidarity Foundation (ALAS) - which she co-founded with Nobel Prize winning author Gabriel Garcia Marquez to help rebuild areas hit by natural disasters. The ALAS foundation will also invest $5 million into a three-year commitment project for children in the two regions. Now that’s hot! I never thought that a singer who not only sings hot but looks ever hotter can have such a kind heart to donate a massive $40 million. I have maintained and thought always that charity begins at home and there’s no end to charity because the world needs more and more of those who have the resources to come forward and donate generously. It’s just a matter of having the heart in a cause and then charity becomes a way of life. Usher’s wife Tameka Foster is suffering from an unusual craving during her pregnancy - she is constantly eating ice. Ms. Foster’s taste for ice is not at all unusual. Pregnancy creates hormonal changes and in many cases, foods that you did not eat, you now have a taste for and vice/versa. I too, kept a pitcher of crushed ice by my bed each night to alleviate the nausea I felt. I did not like sweets, so the ice was refreshing and tasteless. Halle Berry likes pickles, Tameka likes ice-creams and Christina might have the urge for some other tastes and would be carving for maybe some delicious Thai sea food specialties but I can’t understand that why such personal which somewhat stupid to be discussed in public are coming out on the internet. Whoever wrote this is a retard. This is common during pregnancy.

Cancer survivor Sheryl Crow is helping others suffering with the disease, by championing a new charity shoe sale. Well I do not know how much would a charity show sale auction or what ever it would call collect for cancer patients. But tell you what, sometimes its not just what is on sale that is important, at times its what is the cause for which the sale is being put on that is important. And this is exactly one of those auctions where shoe sales are not important but the motive and the feeling to help others like her that is note worthy. Sheryl you are not just a plain music rocker but a true rocker in life as well, you’ve battled cancer and you’ve won and I think you know today the importance of life and you wanna make a difference in other’s lives as well who are battling this deadly but curable disease. Hats off to you and hopefully you can collect enough to help some if not all people you intend to.

She will be signing copies of her new Spanish language CD - 90 Millas – available on Burgundy Records/Sony BMG on September 18th. This proves that there is new age media and advertising but you still have to meet and reach out to your fans the old fashion way, meeting them face to face. In the yester years artist meet at city squares and common place of the community and sing for them too, today its at a Starbucks coffee outlet but you have to go there sign autographs and mingle with the fans. I think this kind of interaction could be very positive for the artist, coz most of the time the fans that come to meet you will say all the goods things about you and that would eventually boost your confidence that people like you.

Yep, it’s all about the sales and the money for the BLING. But tell you what Kanye would not be the one to lose his sleep over record sales (though he would like if his sales beat his rivals), he’s just a cool customer with such things. Where as 50 Cent is someone whose got a bad temperament, he is the one whose been barking like a mad dog over the rivalry in the days preceding the release of the album. Am glad kanye west is beating 50 cent. 5o is too cocky and immature and he needs to be taught a lesson. Kanye won’t even come out with a statement regarding his record sales and 50 Cents, I know he would have known by now that he is catching up, so maybe right this moment he’ll be planning his next assault and prove he is one jerk of an ass that needs to be thrown out of our music world.

Now that he has been proved this chaps just going keep running his point over and over again till we damn kick his ass and tell him that it’s been six months since the VMAs have been over. He might have been right that Britney will prove to be a failure at the MTV awards but that doesn’t mean he is some kind of messiah knows what’s going to be the Britney Spears performance and other things too, then he would have known that Kanye West wasn’t going to win in any of the five categories. So we all know he is not a messiah. Britney tired to get it right but she couldn’t, she is just a human trying to get it right all over again, she might not succeed but at least she’s tired to success, you these morons who think she finished and a waste need to take a closer look at themselves at see if they have ever achieved even a fraction of the success that Britney has. Mr. Timbaland good for you that you’ve been able to get a prediction right, but the same could happen to you.

Isn’t this piece of news something so different from what we all have being listening, viewing, reading for so many days now. With so much happening isn’t it so cool of Shakira to sit down and learn something that’s worthy of a mention. While everyone else has been at the beach, the MTV Awards and the Emmys, Shakira’s been studying History of Western Civilization all summer at UCLA. I think this is absolutely cool thing that she has enrolled herself into, instead of wasting time and energy of wasteful matter she’s decide that there is time for better things in life and she is utilizing that time for something good, babes you rock!

What did he think, like they going to come at his house and tell him, ‘hey Evans you did a fanstatic job in that 2003 album, I can’t remember the name of the album but I can remember you, your share of 50 cents as royalty share’. There is a time in everyone’s career when you are at a junction trying to make up your mind whether to choose between career or family. She made hers’ and tells that she has no regrets as well, so that about it. When you take a decision you take it and move on with it there’s no looking back and saying I missed on those things because you keeping gaining a few other thing and that’s what you wanted Nicks and you got it. But Stevie all not lost, if you still decide to give up the touring you do and find a man you’d like to stay home with and go shopping for small little thing with then dear make that change life and experience something you haven’t as yet. It could make you very happy and satisfied.

This is really kind of a weird co-incidence but it just happens to be that when ever I am writing about Lindsay Lohan there is some news that has Paris Hilton too. After getting out of jail this girl has not been in the news for anything and so should it be coz this girl’s got nothing in her to suggest that she is worth a penny. But loves to be seen and written about so how she could possibly manage to keep herself in the spotlight. Isn’t this the weirdest thing you’ve seen in a long time? When I first saw this picture, I thought it was a fluke. But then I could see the point of the two of them being together well coz both of them are pretty much the worst things in their own field, Paris cannot sing, act and Curtis, well he can sing but he has such bad lyrics and such a nasty looking personality that no one would bother if he went past them. Paris is just a person who wants attention even if it meant being in the company of the worst men in town, she’ll be happy just to smile for the camera. These two were at his party for his new album “Curtis” at the Hard Rock last night.

That’s the question everyone in the world including celebrities and fans are asking of Britney Spears, that couldn’t she manage to put one stage performance something that she is know to be strong at, just more time. You want the truth? The Honest truth? Pains pills and/or prescription medication. That’s likely what went wrong. Depression, Post Partum Depression, Pipolar Manic Depression. Britney Spears is almost assuredly mentally ill and her substance abuse is simply an attempt to cover it. She’s an emotionally unstable wreck, propped up on medication just to pay the bills of all the handlers/parasites/enamels that are leeching off of her to the tune of $700,000 a month. This is just like Anna Nicole. It really, really is. Much like Lindsay Lohan, Britney has to get into some fairly serious trouble with the law, without killing herself or someone else in the process. It’s really the only chance she has left. She’s severed ties with all the people who actually care about her and are only listening to her handlers, who continue, of course, to insist to her that nothing’s wrong. At least Lindsay still listens to her family. Britney won’t. This is sad. And tragic. Very tragic

Beyonce recently had an interview with Latina Magazine that has everyone wishing that they could turn back time and just erase her from existence. Beyonce tells the magazine that “I’m just jealous that I wasn’t born Latina. I wish I had been because the culture is so beautiful.” If she’s going to come up with an original thought, maybe she should write it down and read it first. Talk about putting your foot in your mouth.

She goes on to say “I noticed a big difference between speaking to all of the Latino stations and speaking to the pop stations or the other stations. With the Latino stations, there was so much love and everyone is so genuine.”

Where was her mother, Jay-Z or even her publicist when this went on?

Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil has hit out at judges of the Mercury Music Prize, insisting the singer was “robbed” of the $40,000 award. They most probably did not want to reward this druggie. Good for them. “She is really well and doesn’t need to go back to rehab”…sure, it would be great if all drug users can get the monkey off their backs so fast. It was not but 2 or 3 weeks ago that she landed in a fight with her husband with him ending up with scratches all over his face and neck when he caught her about to do drugs with a prostitute in their bathroom. Fielder-Civil says, “Amy was robbed. Who knows why they didn’t give her the award. But I was so proud of her for her performance. She’s really well and she doesn’t need to go back into rehab.” He is no better than a piece of sh*t himself and he needs to go to the rehab and this time alone not in the company of Amy.

Britney Spears spent her weekend in Las Vegas, where she has been rehearsing her performance for the MTV VMA’s on September 9th. According to sources, Britney spent all day Friday rehearsing and then that night she went and partied with P. Diddy at Pure nightclub. Hey, now that’s what I like, you work and like Britney rehearsed all day and then when work is done for the day you party hard as well to enjoy and celebrate the day’s work. That’s the culture I have been brought up on and that’s the way I think it should be. No work just partying all the time and killing life without doing anything meaningful and substantial is worthless fun. I’m really looking forward to the MTV VMA’s tomorrow. While I don’t really ever watch MTV and I dislike the majority of the type of people who will be there, I really want to see Britney’s performance.
