Vanessa Hudgens has received the first review of her sophomore album ‘Identified’, which comes out on July 1, from Entertainment Weekly. Vanessa said of the album that “[The album] is definitely sophisticated. But it’s also funky and fun–something that I would, like, actually listen to.” I’m not sure who really reviews the album here. Of the three tracks EW listed, most of the reviews of the songs came pretty much from Vanessa herself. The songs they heard were her first single off the album ‘Sneakernight’, the Dr. Luke (Kelly Clarkson, Pink) produced sassy anthem ‘First Bad Habit’ and the stripped-down ballad ‘Gone with the Wind’.
Well, it looks that way anyway. Thanks to the Rambert Dance Company in London, fans can still go see her “one more time”.
The group is currently putting on a 14 minute show based on the struggling singer’s roller coaster life. They show everything from when she was on top to when she shaved her head to when she was wheeled out of her home on a stretcher.
Choreographer Hubert Essakow says it best, “Britney’s life is a modern day tragedy.”
They’ve worked hard all through 2007 and have already started busting their cute butts at the start of 2008. Now, they’re set to reap their rewards. The Jonas Brothers just signed a two-year, multi-million dollar worldwide deal with live entertainment promoter Live Nation.
20-year old Kevin, 18-year old Joe and 15-year old Nick are set to play more than 140 theaters and arenas around the world during the span of the agreement. If it’s any indication of what the three brothers could get from their deal, Madonna signed with Live Nation back in October and mad out with a reported $120 million.

In the blog titled “got bitterness? vs. a revelation on true connection (and the award goes to)” Pete reveals just how he felt about the lack of nominations but yet being asked to appear and even perform for a kick off party.
But apart from bitterness, Pete actually has a great point about relevance and acceptance in there. It’s a good read.
Kylie has released her 10th studio album with more confidence than ever. And she has scooted off to Germany to promote it.
The miniature singer, most recently in the news for being humiliated by a saucy statue created by Madame Tussauds, was cleared last year of the horrible disease; Breast Cancer, which knocked her down in 2005.
And now as she promotes her new album X, she says, “I think it’s not so difficult to write a decent song but to write a great song is a difficult thing. I like the challenge of trying to find that and at the very least, writing something that I enjoy singing and all people love. It took me a number of years to find my confidence to do that but now it’s just part of me.”
What a trooper. I remember listening to Kylie when I was a kid and she is still going strong; with the right attitude and music that pleases the new generations as the times move on. You go girl!
Amy Winehouse parties so hard during tour that her tour manager just can’t hang with her anymore. Thom Stone has reportedly quit as her tour manager because he is worried about that Amy is ruining his health. Haha, we all knew this was coming and let me tell you fans out there who think she might be able to claw back, this is only the beginning and there are more lows for her to come. Winehouse disappointed fans that were anxious to see her at the opening night of her U.K. tour in England, on Wednesday. Many of the anxious fans were so pissed at her lackluster performance that they walked out mid-show and demanded a refund. Just as I said there are more lows from her to come and she really is headed the Britney way, lackluster music and bad performance, dipping ratings and a complete trainwreck that’s what she is headed towards.

A fake quote came out a while ago at the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo that Rihanna admitted to being with Josh and that she is very much in love with him. But Rihanna has gone on the record saying “That is completely incorrect. People quote me on things that I never said. That quote is not a real quote. It’s not right at all.” If you read between the lines, she’s saying that she’s single. There’s hope for all those still lusting for her.
Jive Records is officially giving up on trying to get Britney Spears to promote her new album. They’re not even planning a tour despite her single “Gimme More” topping the charts. The label realizes that Britney doesn’t care and is apparently becoming fed up with her antics. Her label should understand that she is basically in turmoil right now and she is clearly unfit to be on tour right now. What if she goes on a tour promoting the album and during an interview she starts crying because there is some bad news that coming from her custody trail. Then the media and her record would be at logger heads, her record label would have to defend her because she is in a way representing them when on tour and that paparazzi as usual needless to say would be out there in their full numbers trying to blow up the story by saying she is mentally ill. Best that she doesn’t tour right now.

The singer hit the headlines after being charged with two counts of DUI in California in 2005 and was ordered to complete a rehabilitation program. Yeah that’s what they want us to believe, he wants us to believe that he is refined and no longer a ‘bad boy’ but they are all a fry cry from what they claim to be. Nick just because someone stops taking drugs or smashing cars on the highways and is low on alcohol consumption doesn’t mean you have become sacred in anyways ok, so stop bullying other about your image. Have you ever been polite to some hungry dog or shaken hands with an AIDS suffering person, no never you can never, you’ve just grown up in the age terms and found newer ways to do all the bad things you previously did only it may be that you make sure no one finds about it.
Paul McCartney and Heather Mills came together in court Thursday to continue the business of splitting up. I know I am going to get alot of hate posts for this, but honestly, I am as tired of hearing about this long drawn out divorce as I am of hearing about Princess Diana’s death and the ongoing long drawn out investigation into her alleged “murder”. Folks, Paul and Heather need to get it over with and we need to let Princess Di do just that, die already. Sorry if that sounds cold but how long are we going to go on and on about Di and the accident? I am surprised they are not investigating Elvis’s death! Let these people rest. Ever since she went crazy, Britney Spears’ record label has been mum. But not anymore.
MTV News was able to get an interview with label rep Allan Mayer. He says, “It’s not Jive’s place to fashion a public-relations campaign with respect to Britney’s personal issues, but Jive does care about her and does support her. We’re not pointing fingers — because the media and the paparazzi wouldn’t exist if there weren’t an appetite for it. But there’s no question that when you have someone at this level of celebrity, they become like cartoons or soap-opera characters, and we forget that they’re human beings. People say that’s the trade you make, that you have to give up your privacy or the ability to lead a normal life, but sometimes you make that bargain before you realize what it entails and it’s too late. Britney’s a grown woman, and she makes her own choices, and we respect that. But she’s been at a disadvantage [without a consistent team], and obviously that makes it harder to cope.”
Latino pop hunk Ricky Martin is stunned he has been awarded a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. The singer will accept the accolade for his contribution to music in California on October 16th. Let me state my view on his Star at Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. He is a fantastic performer and great with the girls as his looks are stunning and his moves on the dance floor make him look like a demigod. But even this does not mean that he deserves a Star, I think looks and fame should not be the criteria to be awarded a star, achievements in one’s career in their respective fields should be the sole and only criteria to be awarded a star. And the fact that Ricky himself is stunned by the adulation shows that he knows that he fully doesn’t deserve it. But now that he has been awarded the star he can be proud of it.
Justin Timberlake made thousands of lucky fans sweat and millions more completely jealous when he stripped off his shirt at his concert held at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California on Tuesday night. Apparently, it was a thank you to his concert-goers.
But fans that didn’t get to see it live don’t have to fret because there’s a video going around of JT taking his sweaty shirt off and throwing it to the audience. That action, of course, made people go wild. Justin then throws up double peace signs and disappears backstage.
Yummy! Now if he could lose the pants with the shirt, I could die happy.
Mel C is honestly the best Spice Girl. The artist formerly and currently known as Sporty Spice has become an indie musician and it is awesome. She has earned her credit with her efforts.
Mel released a solo album on her own and it is really good. She even has a video for her new single called ‘This Time’. The video, much like the song, is sparse and emotional. It’s a beautiful pop song but in a way is actually the anti of pop. It’s something earnest that the Spice Girls would never ever release.
If only the rest of the world would catch on with her work.

According to UsMagazine.com, she could be. They are reporting that FOX is in talks with the pop star’s peeps to book her for the Emmy’s. Thankfully, she won’t be performing but rather having her come on and apologize for the VMAs. A show source says that she’s weighing the offer.
Why would she need to apologize for her VMAs performance? We’re in major need of therapy for that traumatic experience but she’s the one without a career.
Now that he has been proved this chaps just going keep running his point over and over again till we damn kick his ass and tell him that it’s been six months since the VMAs have been over. I think this is absolutely cool thing that she has enrolled herself into, instead of wasting time and energy of wasteful matter she’s decide that there is time for better things in life and she is utilizing that time for something good, babes you rock!

When you take a decision you take it and move on with it there’s no looking back and saying I missed on those things because you keeping gaining a few other thing and that’s what you wanted Nicks and you got it. This is really kind of a weird co-incidence but it just happens to be that when ever I am writing about Lindsay Lohan there is some news that has Paris Hilton too. After getting out of jail this girl has not been in the news for anything and so should it be coz this girl’s got nothing in her to suggest that she is worth a penny. But loves to be seen and written about so how she could possibly manage to keep herself in the spotlight. Isn’t this the weirdest thing you’ve seen in a long time? When I first saw this picture, I thought it was a fluke. But then I could see the point of the two of them being together well coz both of them are pretty much the worst things in their own field, Paris cannot sing, act and Curtis, well he can sing but he has such bad lyrics and such a nasty looking personality that no one would bother if he went past them. Paris is just a person who wants attention even if it meant being in the company of the worst men in town, she’ll be happy just to smile for the camera. These two were at his party for his new album “Curtis” at the Hard Rock last night.
That’s the question everyone in the world including celebrities and fans are asking of Britney Spears, that couldn’t she manage to put one stage performance something that she is know to be strong at, just more time. You want the truth? The Honest truth? Pains pills and/or prescription medication. That’s likely what went wrong. Depression, Post Partum Depression, Pipolar Manic Depression. Britney Spears is almost assuredly mentally ill and her substance abuse is simply an attempt to cover it. She’s an emotionally unstable wreck, propped up on medication just to pay the bills of all the handlers/parasites/enamels that are leeching off of her to the tune of $700,000 a month. This is just like Anna Nicole. It really, really is. Much like Lindsay Lohan, Britney has to get into some fairly serious trouble with the law, without killing herself or someone else in the process. It’s really the only chance she has left. She’s severed ties with all the people who actually care about her and are only listening to her handlers, who continue, of course, to insist to her that nothing’s wrong. At least Lindsay still listens to her family. Britney won’t. This is sad. And tragic. Very tragic
Beyonce recently had an interview with Latina Magazine that has everyone wishing that they could turn back time and just erase her from existence. Beyonce tells the magazine that “I’m just jealous that I wasn’t born Latina. I wish I had been because the culture is so beautiful.” If she’s going to come up with an original thought, maybe she should write it down and read it first. Talk about putting your foot in your mouth.
She goes on to say “I noticed a big difference between speaking to all of the Latino stations and speaking to the pop stations or the other stations. With the Latino stations, there was so much love and everyone is so genuine.”
Where was her mother, Jay-Z or even her publicist when this went on?
Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil has hit out at judges of the Mercury Music Prize, insisting the singer was “robbed” of the $40,000 award. They most probably did not want to reward this druggie. Good for them. “She is really well and doesn’t need to go back to rehab”…sure, it would be great if all drug users can get the monkey off their backs so fast. It was not but 2 or 3 weeks ago that she landed in a fight with her husband with him ending up with scratches all over his face and neck when he caught her about to do drugs with a prostitute in their bathroom. Fielder-Civil says, “Amy was robbed. Who knows why they didn’t give her the award. But I was so proud of her for her performance. She’s really well and she doesn’t need to go back into rehab.” He is no better than a piece of sh*t himself and he needs to go to the rehab and this time alone not in the company of Amy.
Britney Spears spent her weekend in Las Vegas, where she has been rehearsing her performance for the MTV VMA’s on September 9th. According to sources, Britney spent all day Friday rehearsing and then that night she went and partied with P. Diddy at Pure nightclub. Hey, now that’s what I like, you work and like Britney rehearsed all day and then when work is done for the day you party hard as well to enjoy and celebrate the day’s work. That’s the culture I have been brought up on and that’s the way I think it should be. No work just partying all the time and killing life without doing anything meaningful and substantial is worthless fun. I’m really looking forward to the MTV VMA’s tomorrow. While I don’t really ever watch MTV and I dislike the majority of the type of people who will be there, I really want to see Britney’s performance.
