Katharine McPhee Covers Shape

Singer Katharine McPhee shows off her bikini bod on the cover of the February 2010 issue of Shape magazine. The 25-year old American Idol alum, who’s been open about her struggle with bulimia, told the magazine that she’s become more forgiving of her body. She talked about refusing to obsess about her weight and living a healthy life, saying “At my last physical, the nurse took my vitals and said, ‘Wow, you must be taking care of yourself! Your blood pressure is perfect. You’re very healthy.’ Hearing her say that made me feel better than seeing an ‘ideal’ number on the scale.”

Alanis Morissette closing weight every day

She has lost an astounding 20 pounds that following a strict vegetarian diet. The 34-year-old Canadian singer lost all this weight in a span of 3 months after realizing that she had to do some thing drastic about change her eating habits.

She said: “I used to get out of bed in the morning and things were aching, and I just thought, this is what happens when you get into your 30’s. But now I jump out of bed and have so much energy. I feel very alive. I have no more aches and pains, and my allergies are gone, too.”

20 pounds in three months that’s really some hard work put in by the singer or else as it is universally famous Americans are amongst those who are the most obese people in the world. And losing weight while growing older is a tough thing usually so if she managed to do so by herself then that’s really commendable.
