After splitting up from young sensation Taylor Lautner and being linked to various other names in showbiz including “Glee” actor Cory Monteith, Taylor Swift recently spoke about the characteristics of her ideal date. This is what she said: “The bad thing about being tall is the majority of people are at a different eye level than you, and so you feel like you’re looking down to talk to people, which is kind of unnatural – looking down to talk to people, and they have to look way up to talk to you.” She also added: “Somebody who has a compatible sense of humor with me, that would be the most important thing.” Right… well, you can’t say Taylor Swift doesn’t make it easy for them. She’s practically feeding the information right on the plate. The question that remains is who will bite?

But it does so in a different direction. It seems that after the recent info on Rihanna’s new boyfriend, Matt Kemp, as being a violent man a representative of his commented that this is not true… and so did a representative of his former girlfriend, Felisha Terrell. This is what the later said about the past of Rihanna’s new boyfriend: “During the course of the relationship there was a restraining order filed by Felisha but it had nothing to do with domestic violence…to be clear, Matt was NEVER physically abusive to Felisha, nor did she fear for her life. The restraining order was subsequently vacated. They both have moved on separately but remain amicable.” Well, this certainly puts Matt Kemp in the clear… but that doesn’t mean he can’t fill in the spot in the orphan nightmares. After all, Rihanna is a very imaginative artist.

The Jonas Brothers singer and his former girlfriend were recently seen getting off together from Nick Jonas’ tour bus. Also, it seems Selena Gomez attended his concert in Detroit recently where some say she had a more than great time. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with having a good buddy or two over for a concert, or for a small tour here and there, but one can’t help but wonder what Nick Jonas is up to… or what they’re both up to, for that matter. And what about Taylor Lautner… wasn’t he the one that had Selena Gomez up for grabs?

Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon is blooming into a full blown teenager as the 13-year old has reportedly started dating. We don’t have to worry about her dating too early though as the Queen of Pop knows it’s harmless fun. An insider told reporters “Madonna is totally fine with it because she knows it’s not that serious at the moment.” The source said that the iconic singer even allowed Lourdes to take her boyfriend to the ‘Nine’ premiere in New York City last month. The boy’s name is Carlo and Lourdes is hoping to keep the media from attacking her guy pal. That’s kind of difficult considering who her mom is.

It seems that Rihanna has a new man in her life and the singer has moved on from all the musicians as she’s now dating a major league baseball player. The Barbadian babe has been said to be dating LA Dodgers’ Matt Kemp and even invited the outfielder to join her in Abu Dhabi for her New Year’s Eve performance. Sources say tha the two are getting all serious and that Rihanna absolutely adores Matt because he’s “such a gentleman” and “super sexy”. She got the best of both worlds right there! Here’s to hoping that he stays that way and not turn into a douche bag.

John Mayer was on the Tuesday episode of Ellen DeGeneres. The 32-year old singer sat down with the famous comedian and admitted that he’s had a crazy dating life so far and that the idea of dating is freaking him out right now. John said “I don’t know if you know this, but I have sort of a funny track record. Which is actually not that strange, given my age. I’m a little freaked out right now about it, to be honest. I have a good heart. I think I may have gotten lost a couple of times, but so does everybody. I’m just going to hunker down. 2010 is a peaceful year for me, no matter what I do.”

Hayden Panettiere will be spending the holidays alone as the actress has reportedly been dumped by Jesse McCartney, just to return to his ex Katie Cassidy. I didn’t even know that they were dating. It must be because they’ve only been together for less than a month. I’m guessing that the singer’s camp couldn’t stand Hayden either because they are absolutely joyous that Hayden is out of the picture. According to a source close to Jesse “Katie is on a strict schedule with ‘Melrose Place’ and Jesse’s people really want him to stay out of clubs and live more of an adult lifestyle. They think Katie will keep him on track.”

Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie Wood is reportedly ‘hatching a plan’ to win back his estranged wife Jo.

The 62-year-old guitarist left Jo, 54, last year for 20-year-old Ekaterina Ivanova but he reportedly recently broke down after drinking two bottles of vodka.

The breakdown allegedly came after three weeks of rows with Ekaterina, which led to his arrest for assault after a public bust-up.

A source told UK newspaper The People: “Ronnie would do anything to get Jo back. He still loves her to death and wants to spend the rest of his life with her.

“Ronnie told Tyrone and a bodyguard he wants to hatch a plan to get Jo back. That is his main priority – not Ekaterina. He knows he did the wrong thing ditching Jo and realises he fell for the wrong girl in Ekaterina.”

Carrie Underwood has dated some pretty hot guys in the last couple of years. So when it came time to find someone new, a member of her band suggested her current boyfriend Mike Fisher. The American Idol alum was a little picky though. The singer explained to Ellen DeGeneres on her show that at first glance, Carrie wasn’t too interested in the hockey player. She was wary about how a long distance relationship would work and she was put off by the fact that some of Mike’s teeth weren’t his own. Carrie also denied rumors that she was moving in with Mike, saying that the person she’s going to move in with will be her husband. There’s no saying that Mike will end up as her hubby though.

Looks like Rihanna is really sending out a message to all potential suitors. After opening up recently and admitting how disastrous the events in February were, Rihanna is over all of her previous problems and is ready to have fun again. When asked about what it takes for her to be impressed, Rihanna said the following: “He has to be good in bed and the size matters. You know what I mean? The inner beauty counts as well, but without a toy it doesn’t make it fun. Right now I don’t want to have a serious relationship, I want to have fun.” Well… isn’t Rihanna going down the treacherous road of denial? Oh well, there’s sure to be some well endowed man out there who can make her forget all about it.

The singer recently admitted that going back to Chris Brown after he beat her up was a big mistake. Rihanna said the following in regards to this: “I was so far in love, so unconditional that I went back. It’s humiliating to say this happened. To accept that? It’s a traumatizing experience I stayed. I even went back after he beat me, which was wrong. But again … I’m a human being, and people put me on a very unrealistic pedestal.” She actually went back? Taylor Swift revealed some juicy details about her relationship with ‘Twilight’ actor Taylor Lautner during a new interview. The cutie of a country singer said “I don’t know, he’s an amazing guy and we’re really close … and ah … yep. We’re in a movie together and I am really excited about seeing it…We both wanna see it so bad, ’cause our scene was so much fun to do, it was hilarious doing this scene!” She didn’t confirm, nor did she deny whether they’re dating or not so that’s still up in the air – or at the very least until they get caught off guard. Mind you, they have a kissing scene in the movie ‘Valentine’s Day’.

On the heels of officially announcing that she will be headed for divorce with hubby Deryck Whibley, rumors are going around that Avril Lavigne has moved on with Dole Food Company billionaire Justin Murdock. The singer and the heir have been seen canoodling and hanging out before Avril split from the Sum 41 front man. Now, insiders are saying that they’ve been held up in a little place in Hawaii by themselves recently. The source said “Avril and Justin have been to Hawaii together but mostly they’ve been holed up at his place. Avril’s had a thing for Justin for a while.” Could he be the reason for the divorce?

Madonna may tie the knot with her Brazilian lover, Jesus Luz, who is 29 years her junior.

He claimed in an interview that Madonna, who has had Luz in constant tow on her world tour, is getting ever more serious about the much-younger hunk. Madonna, 51, has been married to Guy Ritchie – whom she divorced earlier this year – and Sean Penn. She has four children, two of whom are adopted from Malawi.

Madonna hooked up with Luz in January after meeting him on a photo shoot. In recent months, their relationship had been downplayed, with Madonna quoted as saying they were just friends. However, Luz appeared to be much more than a friend in recent spottings in Italy.

Taraborrelli quotes Madonna saying: “He’s so sweet. I could definitely see myself marrying him. It’s definitely on the table.”

Friends say Madonna would spare no expense on a wedding. The pop star and Ritchie had an elaborate celeb-studded wedding at Skibo Castle in the UK, where Madonna wore a Stella McCartney-designed bridal gown.

Reports are saying that John Mayer and Kristin Cavallari from ‘The Hills’ have been hooking up secretly for quite some time. The pair has allegedly been sneaking off to a mutual friend’s house in the Mt. Olympus area of the Hollywood Hills to get their freak on for two years. A source close to the reality star says that she has been hesitant to start anything serious with the singer “because she didn’t want to be added to his long list of conquests, and they were both dating other people off and on.” It’s also being said that since their secret affair has come out, they are starting to consider seriously going public.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were spotted together on a very public golf date at the Valencia Country Club in California last week. An eyewitness told People “Eddie arrived at the private country club in his Porsche a few minutes before LeAnn. LeAnn was beaming when she saw Eddie and the two gave each other a quick hug. Eddie was sweet and went to buy water and energy drinks from the golf store.” Now that the two have publicly come out that they are separated from each other’s significant spouses, I guess they find it well enough to come out to the public with their romance.

Miley Cyrus’ big brother, Trace Cyrus, unloaded some details on his split with Demi Lovato. The Metro Station singer told the press “Demi is one of my good friends and I definitely became very, very close with her in the past few months, and it’s something I really wanted to make work. But unfortunately, we both have very busy schedules – we’re both on tour right now. I’m always on the other side of the world and so is she, so it just seemed like something that can’t work out at this time… But she is a lot younger than me. When someone is that much younger, you’re looking for different things in relationships. Maybe when she’s older and we’ve both matured, we’ll be looking for the same thing and it can work out.” She’s 16 and he’s 20. How big of a difference could there be?

Brandi Glanville, 36, confirmed she is leaving Eddie Cibrian, and that Cibrian is seeing country music star LeAnn Rimes.

“Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart. I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other,” she said in an interview.

The pair have two children, Mason, six, and Jake, two. Cibrian, 36, an actor, appeared in The Cave. Cibrian and Glanville have been married over eight years.

Rimes is married to dancer Dean Sheremet. She and Cibrian were spotted kissing at a restaurant in March and were again seen together in July. Cibrian and Rimes first met on the set of Northern Lights.

Sources claimed Jeff Berger, Rimes’ and Sheremet’s longtime friend, has been facilitating meetings at his home for about a month for the pair and that Rimes and Cibrian made use of a rental house on the west side of Los Angeles.

But Berger denied he has been enabling an affair.

Prince Harry and London publicist Stephanie Haynes have been spotted out at night together.

Haynes and Harry share a mutual friend, Arthur Landon, who is the boyfriend of Charlotte Cowan, a best friend of Haynes.

At 30, she is a tad older than Harry, 24. Haynes, who works for Armani, is said to be very taken with the prince. A friend said: “Stephanie is one of the loveliest girls you’ll meet and Harry seemed rather taken with her.”

Haynes may be but one of a string of blondes the prince has at his texting fingertips. The friend continued: “They were out with a group of friends and there was a definite attraction between the two of them and they have been in touch since. Harry has a thing for blondes and there are several he’s always texting on his BlackBerry. Stephanie is one of them.”

A spokesman for Clarence House said: “The two met on one occasion as part of a group.”

Harry, meanwhile, is said to be genuinely trying to move forward after the break-up of his five-year relationship with Chelsy Davy in February.

A source close to the prince said: “He has a reputation for being a playboy, and he’s enjoying being single but he’s a very caring and sensitive soul and loves being in a meaningful relationship. He was gutted when things didn’t work out with Chelsy.”

Newly-single teen superstar Miley Cyrus has admitted that she and her ex Nick Jonas have “reconnected”.

The Hannah Montana star, 16, who split with model Justin Gaston earlier this week, told The River’s morning radio show in Nashville, Tennessee: “Nick is my best friend, and we still hang out all the time. We’ve definitely reconnected. We don’t know what’s going to happen in the future, but right now we’re just kind of kicking it and hanging out as much as we can.”

Cyrus had previously admitted that she “bawled for a month straight” when she and Nick called it quits at the end of 2007. But the pair, who sing a duet on the Jonas Brothers’ new song, Before The Storm, have since patched things up.

“We both just kind of saw each other and kind of decided this whole thing is kind of stupid,” Cyrus said. “We were all over the separation. I’m really happy to be back in their lives.”
