It seems that Chris Brown is a little distraught about his career lately. The singer has taken to an on-line voice-messaging site called SayNow to complain about how radio stations aren’t playing his songs anymore. This is what Chris Brown’s message reveals: “A lot of radio stations aren’t playing my records. They are not being that supportive and I wouldn’t expect them to.” He also seems to be pleading with his fans to try and help bring him back. What does Chris Brown expect them to do, though, pass out flyers? And the false modesty with the radio thing won’t score him too many popularity points either.

According to reports, Chris Brown is on track to sell around 95,000 to 10,000 copies of his new album ‘Graffiti’ in his first week. That’s not too bad, except when you consider that his last album sold three times as many – nearly 300,000 in its first week. Talk about getting burned! But even bigger news is that Susan Boyle is expected to push 600,000 albums in her third week. Wow! It looks like the R&B singer is going to be taken down by the YouTube sensation. Though considering all the media scrutiny that Chris has been under, it wouldn’t be hard for anyone to take him down.

The singer recently admitted that she does have a dark-side too that loves to take risks and be naughty. This is what Rihanna said on the matter: “I’m a bad girl and I like dangerous stuff!” And yet, that didn’t stop her from taking the whole Chris Brown incident so badly… it’s not like that was the safest thing Rihanna has done until now. As the old saying goes: if you can’t stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. This probably has something to do with those so-called metal influences on her new album… Rihanna is probably just trying to play it hardcore for a while.

The singer recently admitted that going back to Chris Brown after he beat her up was a big mistake. Rihanna said the following in regards to this: “I was so far in love, so unconditional that I went back. It’s humiliating to say this happened. To accept that? It’s a traumatizing experience I stayed. I even went back after he beat me, which was wrong. But again … I’m a human being, and people put me on a very unrealistic pedestal.” She actually went back? What kind of sane person does that anyway? Issues, Rihanna, issues… consult your local psychiatrist for more info. Who knows, he might just have the perfect prescription drug for you!

Chris Brown is really owning up to being a douche. The singer let his anger get the best of him at Lucky Strike Lanes in New York City earlier this week. After a few hours inside with friends, Chris was forcefully removed from the bowling alley. A source said “Lucky Strikes is pretty chill on Monday nights, but Chris was ready to party, and that’s what he did. He definitely looked like he was being forced to leave, like his friends knew it was in his best interest. He was acting kind of crazy, partying too much, and making moves on a really young-looking girl.”

Rihanna and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown attended Game Four of the 2009 NBA Finals separately last week at Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida. People reported that the former couple surrounded by a felony assault drama requested to sit together but wound up getting seats nowhere near each other. During half time, the camera panned to every celebrity who was there to watch the game except for Chris. I wish they would have showed him. It would have been the best indication as to how the jury would react to their case which will have its preliminary hearing on June 22. Rihanna is set to testify.

It’s been two months since the controversial incident between Rihanna and Chris Brown which was responsible for the filing of felony charges against Chris Brown. However, all seems to have been forgotten between Rihanna and Chris Brown as the two singers are reportedly back in each other’s arms and dwelling place. Chris Brown is reportedly living in again with girlfriend Rihanna.

Sources however said that while Chris Brown and Rihanna have spent a few nights together Chris Brown has not yet officially moved in with the Umbrella singer. Rihanna is not at all afraid of the possible public backlash resulting from her reconciliation with Chris Brown but the couple is definitely not going public with their reconciliation. Rihanna has asked her staff and close friends to live with the fact that she is with Chris Brown.

There’s a new rumor floating around that Chris Brown is dating Girlicious singer Natalie Mejia. Chris’ reps are adamantly denying the love connection even though the two singers were spotted this past Saturday at a West Hollywood tattoo parlor. Chris’ camp says “Chris was in a Hollywood tattoo parlor with a woman from the recording studio named Dean, who was getting a tattoo… Natalie Mejia was there with Dean. [Reports in other media] that Natalie Mejia is Chris’s new girlfriend are also false.” Friends of Natalie also say that they are just friends. Someone probably just leaked this out to give Girlicious some attention they desperately need.

As expected, Chris Brown pleaded not guilty to the threat and assault charges hurled against him by girlfriend Rihanna. Chris Brown however entered his innocent plea in a soft voice while standing beside his lawyer Mark Geragos and with the support of his red-eyed mother in the first row. Despite speculations about Rihanna’s presence in today’s arraignment finally came to an end as the “Umbrella” singer was a no-show.

Rihanna’s lawyer Donald Etra said Rihanna’s camp was in favor of entering into a plea deal before the case is tried. Rihanna just wants to get the case over with as quickly as possible he said and that she would testify if required to do so. Chris Brown was arrested last February after figuring in domestic abuse with a woman who was identified in the court records as Robyn F. The name of the victim was not indicated in the police blotter and it is only now that the victim’s name has surfaced. Rihanna is Robyn Rihanna Fenty in real life.

It seems that the whole Rihanna & Chris Brown saga will ultimately turn out to be a damp squib after all since there are growing reports that singer Rihanna who is at the center of the controversy does not intend to help prosecutors & district attorney in preparing the case against Chris Brown.

It is being said that Rihanna’s non-cooperation is partly because she is annoyed that her bruised face picture was leaked and it was established that she was Brown’s victim. But prosecutors have said they are no longer in need of Rihanna providing testimony has they have enough evidence and a statement to charge Chris Brown.

Man this is becoming one soap opera that has more twists and turns than one could have ever imagined. Every one thought that Rihanna would do everything to implicate her torturer but she done a complete u-turn and gone as far as recording a song with Chris Brown and riding on a private plane with him.

All that’s left is for her to announce she is the ‘would be’ mother of his child. That would be like the final nail in the coffin, sorry but couldn’t find a better way to put this across.

After much criticism from the general public, Chris Brown is withdrawing his name from consideration for the 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards. A spokesman for the 19-year old alleged woman beater said “Chris very much appreciates the support of his fans and the honor they have paid him in the way of nominations for Favorite Male Singer and Favorite Song. Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated. While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Once the matter before him has been resolved, he intends to do so.”

Law enforcement sources are saying that the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office has requested more evidence to help prove the felony charges brought against alleged woman beater Chris Brown as a result of the February 8th domestic violence incident involving him and Rihanna. Chris is currently being investigated for domestic violence, assault resulting in great bodily injury and attempted murder based on his supposed threat to kill the Barbadian beauty and then strangling her until she passed out. However, since only Rihanna and Chris know exactly what happened, it will be difficult to slap him with the attempted murder charge and the DA does not want to move forward with such a high profile case if the evidence is faulty.

Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, was shocked when he first heard news that his daughter had been attacked by Chris Brown. The 55-year old salesman and freelance clothing designer was interviewed by People where he said “I didn’t believe it. They seemed pretty happy [when I saw them together in July]. I don’t know what went wrong… You think you know somebody, but you really don’t.” Rihanna is currently in Barbados while she heals. Her father says “There is some bruising. She will be alright. At some point, she will speak out. I hope she will stand up for women all over the world… If it were me, I’d move on.”

Last Sunday’s Grammy Awards was supposed to be a showcase not only of their talent but also their successful relationship but something went wrong preventing Chris Brown and Rihanna also known as Robyn Fenty from performing, even appearing at the Grammy. Couple Brown and Rihanna, were not only nominated for a Grammy but were also slated to perform during the show. However, Brown turned up at 6:30 pm not on stage but at the Wilshire station of the LAPD where he was questioned and detained for surprisingly, allegedly roughing up and threatening Rihanna.

The 19-year Brown, who was booked for allegedly making criminal threat, was released after a $50,000 bailbond was posted. The case will now be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office. Police said Brown was unscathed but it seems the 20-year old Rihanna suffered bruises on her face. The Grammy people had no inkling at first about the reason behind the couple’s last minute absence or whether one’s absence was related to the other. Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos did not issue any statement but Rihanna’s publicist, Amanda Silverman thanked those concerned and said the singer is well.

No, Rihanna and Chris Brown didn’t break up. A report came out that even if the two are always together, they still book two different hotel rooms. It’s not because they’re trying to keep their romance under wraps. According to a source close to the couple “They use one room to put their things in, mostly because Rihanna travels with a lot of stuff. She’s a real girlie girl, and she brings along lots of clothes, makeup, accessories.… It’s like her whole closet travels with her.” After a round of shopping, Rihanna parts ways with Chris to drop her things off at one room then joins back with him to sleep.

Some crazy stuff went down at the Fashion Rocks after party at New York’s Rainbow Bar last weekend. According to reports, Justin Timberlake had to dive for cover and dodge punches after his bodyguard tried to grab a mobile phone off a fan who sneaked into the VIP area to snap a picture of the singer. All hell broke loose when the girl’s friends stepped in to help her and glasses flew off tables and shattered everywhere. Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Rihanna and Chris Brown all had to duck for cover as well. The divas were supposedly shrieking in horror as their security teams protected them from the flying debris.

Rihanna is looking hot as she waved to photographers while out shopping in West Hollywood with her family. Rumored boyfriend Chris Brown wasn’t around though. Rihanna is currently spending her second week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart with her hit song ‘Disturbia’. Someone finally knocked off Katy Perry! David Archuleta’s ‘Crush’ made the best chart debut in over 18 months by reaching number 2 and sold 166,000 downloads in the US. It looks like Rihanna has some stiff competition. I wonder when David Cook will be releasing more of his stuff. One David is not enough for me.

However the latest public display of affection in a hot tub in Ocean City, Maryland, certainly indicates things are hotting up between the two of them.

A fellow holidaymaker said: “They were really enjoying each other’s company. Rihanna even picked a spot on Chris’s face as they sipped cocktails.”

Eugh. It must be love.

It’s almost starting to be a given that once you’re a huge enough star in your chosen career path, you just have to dabble in on the others. R&B prince Chris Brown is in final negotiations for the feature thriller ‘Bone Deep’. The film’s cast also includes Matt Dillon, Idris Elba and actor/rapper TI. It is directed by John Lussenhop. The film is about a group of criminals who plan a major robbery at a money depot with 2 detectives hot on their trail. Chris will supposedly play one f the members of the heist crew. The 19-year old singing sensation is also set to star in two other films, ‘Caramel’ and ‘Phenom’.

Chris Brown performs onstage with Ciara during the 2008 BET Awards which was held at the Shrine Auditorium on Tuesday in Los Angeles, California. When Ciara came on stage, rain came pouring down in the background as visible text and images could be seen. ‘Ciara’ and ‘Take U Down’ could be seen during the performance. A little shameless plugging doesn’t hurt anyone after all. The 19-year old Chris won the night’s first award for best male R&B artist. He said on the red carpet “I just love what I’m doing and I have fun doing it. I love being myself.”
