Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has said she ‘definitely’ wants to have more children with hubby Pete Wentz.

The 25-year-old star, who recently completed her stint on Broadway in Chicago, said she and hubby Pete want a sibling for their 15-month-old son Bronx.

She said: “Children are the most beautiful gifts you can have in your life. I love being a mother. Definitely, we’d love to have more kids.”

Pete added that he is handing his role as stay-at-home parent back to his wife after she finished her Broadway stint.

He said: “Staying home… it’s awesome. [But] I can’t be Mr. Mom any more. I’ll have to go out and get a job.”

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has said her son Bronx has ‘helped her grow’ since he was born in 2008.

The 25-year-old star and husband Pete Wentz, 30, welcomed the little boy in November 2008 and she said he has brought a joy into her life.

Asked if motherhood has changed her, she said: “Oh absolutely. It’s the best thing of my life, it’s helped me grow.

“Same for Pete. I think that being a parent in general just changes you so much.”

Simpson-Wentz’s run in the Broadway adaptation of Chicago will end on February 7 and she said she has loved the time she has spent in the show.

She said: “It’s been great! We’re just here for two more weeks, then we’re headed back home.

“But it’s been really cool. Doing Chicago has been great, and it’s been wonderful to go through it all with my husband and baby.”

Ashlee Simpson Wentz recently celebrated her 25th birthday at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Ashlee celebrated her birthday with best friend and older sister Jessica, as well as parents Joe and Tina Simpson.

Ashlee’s husband Pete Wentz also joined the party as he had a night off from his Fall Out Boy tour, which recently wrapped in Madison Square Garden.

Ashlee has recently swapped singing for acting as she has a role in the remake of TV show Melrose Place.

However, the show’s fate is uncertain as ratings are reportedly not as good as expected.

Singer Ashlee Simpson likes been settled and doesn’t envy her sister Jessica’s single girl freedom.

The 24-year-old, who is married and has a kid, told Redbook magazine: “Being a mum’s so empowering and incredible. I’m one of those people who believes that life brings things to you at a certain time for a certain reason, and if you just go with it, that’s where the best moments come from.”

Ashlee, who married Fall Out Boy Bassist/lyricist Pete Wentz in 2008, also said that her son Bronx has helped her to mature and her grow up.

She added: “I’ve grown up so much. Your body is changing, and it’s such an amazing time to feel that connection … Being pregnant was the healthiest I’ve ever been in my life. Except for the cupcakes.”

On the other hand, her sister Jessica, 29, is free and single but when asked if she envies her, Ashlee said: “I really don’t.”

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has said she doesn’t care if her son wants to follow her and husband Pete Wentz into showbusiness.

Ashlee, 24, and husband Pete, 30, who is part of band Fall Out Boy, are parents to nine-month-old Bronx Mowgli.

She said: “I’m all about whatever it is Bronx likes to do and wants to do. Definitely going to follow what it is that he loves and hope to be a great parents in that way.”

Ashlee has recently joined the cast of the remake of Melrose Place and she said it’s good to have a mix of old cast members as well as new ones.

She said: “It’s great to have some of the old cast members but at the same time, it’s definitely a new show and hopefully we’ll entertain the previous Melrose Place fans.”

Several sources are saying that a very nasty fight went down between Ashlee Simpson and Michelle Trachtenberg at the DJ Hero party at LA’s Wiltern Theater last week. Insiders say that a very out-of-control Ashlee verbally attacked Michelle and had to be restrained. The party planner made a major mistake by sitting Pete Wentz and wife Ashlee directly in front of his ex-girlfriend Michelle who attended the party with her new boyfriend. The evening supposedly started off civilly with the couples talking to each other and Ashlee even showing Michelle some baby pictures of Bronx. And then Ashlee got very drunk. Ashlee began to give Pete a lap dance. A source said “She was staring directly at Michelle and starting hurling insults at her. She was grinding up on Pete like a stripper. It was actually pretty disgusting!” Michelle took the high road and refused to fire back at Ashlee before she was dragged away to avoid any physical fight.

Fall Out Boy star Pete Wentz has posted pictures online of his son Bronx Mowgli’s Disney-themed nursery.

Pete, 29, and wife Ashlee Simpson, 24, welcomed their son Bronx Mowgli in November and he posted two pictures of the nursery on a website to show fans.

The photo was accompanied by a message that read: “i know weve been very protective over our son and what people see. but everyone knows were huge disney fans and we wanted to give the peeps over at disney consumer products a shout out for coming in and helping design his nursery.”

It added: “these are pictures of the walls before we got all his gear in there. the chalk board is real. we also had the artist that draws pooh do the art.”

Ashlee and Pete got married in May 2008 in an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding and also gave their son the middle name Mowgli, which is the main character in Disney film The Jungle Book.

Pete Wentz is one paranoid man and he isn’t afraid to admit that he struggles to control his anxiety. The Fall Out Boy bassist said “I’m paranoid pretty much all the time. I can take three Xanax and not feel a thing.” He also revealed that he tries not to read about himself online saying “I was letting the blogs get to me. It’s semi-frustrating when your name actually becomes a synonym for douche bag.” Well, if you are a douche bag then there’s no reason for bloggers to not write about it. Anyway, he aslo said that he’s trying to change his way of living, especially with baby Bronx around. He said “I’m working on not swearing around Bronx. I know I have a bit of a bad mouth.”

Over the past days, we have been waiting for news as to when Ashlee Simpson-Wentz was to give birth.
After days of waiting she finally gave birth to a baby boy last night and gave me a real good laugh.

Bronx Mowgli Wentz weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20 1/2 inches long.
“Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!” a spokesperson tells PEOPLE.

Beyonce’s little sister Solange Knowles rubbed shoulders with pregnant singer Ashlee Simpson backstage during the taping of MTV’s FNMTV last week at Ren-Mar Studios in Hollywood. The 22-year old recently put on the hat of a video director when she made her directorial debut with ‘Sandcastle Disco’ which was written by Cee-Lo and produced by Soulshock & Karlin. The song is the second single off of her sophomore release ‘SoL-AngeL & the Hadley St. Dreams’ which will be dropping in stores on August 26. Her video for the song debuted on the show last Friday. Do the guests of FNMTV have to take pictures with Ashlee when they come by?

Pete Wentz has hinted he and wife Ashlee Simpson are expecting twins. The Fall Out Boy rocker accidentally let the news slip during an interview on a US radio show when he referred to his unborn baby as “them”.

Pete said: “We’ve been keeping a book so far, like a journal for them – for them when they’re, uh, born.”

The 29-year-old musician then started laughing nervously before wrapping up the interview. Meanwhile, Pete has also revealed he is keen to find out the sex of the unborn child, or children. He said: “I’d like to know the sex of the baby. It would be a bummer if you bought a boy a bunch of pink stuff!”

He also revealed 23-year-old Ashlee is coping well with the pregnancy, adding: “I think any pregnant woman knows it’s a lot of stress on your body, but she’s really healthy and handling it like a champ.”

Pete and Ashlee married in May after dating for two years.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz originally canceled four tour dates on her summer tour but now, she’s just “postponing” it altogether. Just admit it, you’re canceling because it was underselling. The singer’s publicist has just released a statement saying “After careful consideration, Ashlee Simpson has decided to postpone her summer tour. She is committed to giving her fans the best show possible, and will be back better than ever and ready to rock in the future.” If you consider how bad her new album ‘Bittersweet World’ is selling, don’t expect to see the expecting singer on the road until well after her baby is born – like a few years from now on her next album.

Ashlee Simpson is still out promoting her upcoming album ‘Bittersweet World’. However, I doubt that being drunk on radio is the proper way to do it. She appeared on Hot 99.5’s Kane in the Morning radio show this past week and she was sloshed off her head. She was slurring her words and could barely talk about a tattoo of a flower that she got the night before the radio appearance and she forgot the lyrics to her new single. However, her rep came out with a statement saying that she wasn’t intoxicated during the interview and was just chalking it up to being tired. Whatever you say Mr. PR man.

Has anyone seen Ashlee Simpson’s bra? The former preacher’s daughter turned wannabe singer turns up the sleaze in a new promo picture for her forthcoming album which will be out in March. Apparently, their sticking to the old adage that sex sells. Or so she hopes. I wouldn’t want to touch her with a ten foot pole. I don’t know where she’s been.

The rosary is a nice touch. I wonder whose idea that was. I bet it was her manipulative dad’s. I bet he was even that one who took this picture! Ha! Or maybe it was Pete Wentz. I’m not entirely sure.

Hilary Duff made a big no-no for singers recently. At a concert in Mexico this past weekend, the singer/actress began singing into the microphone while it was still turned off. Her ‘backing track’ came on later and it was all good.

The video has already been posted on YouTube and you can check it out. There’s an obvious delay between her opening her mouth and “singing” and the track coming on. At the very least she didn’t do a monkey dance. That would have made the whole thing really obvious. She would have been booed offstage much like Ashlee Simpson was back in her SNL snafu.
