A rumoured Jamaica tryst between Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil received a dousing of cold water today.

Fielder-Civil and the beleaguered Winehouse were said to be planning a tryst to celebrate his release from a court-ordered rehab program outside London. The pair were recently divorced but sighted hooking up at Fielder-Civil’s rehab location.

Winehouse has flown to Jamaica to work on her new album, packing up her cats and North London home before departing, according to an earlier report.

A spokesman for the star told the UK Mirror exclusively that Fielder-Civil would not be jetting out too. “He isn’t going out there, no. The whole point of the trip is to record out there, she has a whole album of songs written and has worked on it with [producer and collaborator] Salaam Remi over here and will be over there.”

Remi worked with Winehouse on her huge second album Back To Black, which was released in 2006.

Katy Perry recently spoke to Glamour magazine about her relationship dos and don’ts. The singer said “Drugs are a huge, huge deal breaker. Substance abuse. Lack of ambition. I can’t deal when someone dillydallies through life. You’ve got to have drive – that’s so sexy. I don’t care if someone farts or picks his nose, because that’s going to happen in the long run.” I wonder if that’s how her fiancé, comedian Russell Brand, is with her. And I completely agree on the drugs part. I think only Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen could last with those types of things in their life.

This is the verdict that a psychic gave to Blake Fielder-Civil’s mother after receiving a visit from her and being asked about her son’s and Amy Winehouse’s future. This is what Georgette Civil, Blake Fielder-Civil’s mother, said on the matter: “I wanted to know whether their future was going to be positive. Denise told me that they are going to remarry very soon. It’s going to be abroad. She said they would always be together because of the huge bond between them. In the long-term they are going to be free of drugs, go on a spiritual journey, and they will live happily and have children.” Yes, and in the meantime, in a small pig farm somewhere in Australia, all of the animals will sprout wings and fly away to New Zealand. Strange that the psychic didn’t mention that one… after all, that’s when Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil are ever going to actually have a normal family.

The troubled singer must certainly be having these thoughts regarding her father since he’s expressed his desire to stop her from getting back together with Blake-Fielder Civil. This is what Mitch Winehouse said regarding Amy Winehouse’s intentions of getting back together with her former husband: “It’s a possibility that they could get back together permanently because she loves him, so what can I do? But I’d be devastated, I’m worried about the situation and I’m going to discourage her in every way I can. Their relationship was a disaster, it was destructive and they’re lucky that one of them didn’t die. Two addicts can’t be in a relationship.” Oh well, looks like somebody will be leaving their family shortly. Ah, so sad that Amy Winehouse has to suffer this Shakespearean drama.

It seems the wise fortune-teller that is Amy Winehouse’s niece was wrong about her. Blake Fielder-Civil is once again here to do a number on Amy Winehouse. This is what a source said about the couple’s reunion: “The romance is back on and everyone is frantic with worry. They have vowed to one another never to get back into drugs. But together they just went into self-destruct mode – and it was their separation that saved them.” It seems like Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil are like two death rally cars: after they damage each other up good, they go in for repairs and when they’re back to being like new, or at least drivable, they go at it again. Hopefully they’ll take it easier this time.

Amy Winehouse made her official comeback to the small screen this past weekend as a backup singer for her first recording artist, goddaughter Dionne Bromfiled. The young singer was a guest performer for the British show ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ – their version of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. If you were able to catch the performance, it’s pretty obvious that choreography is not Wino’s thing and I’m fairly certain that her mic was not on the entire time that she was on stage. Oh well, at least she didn’t make a fool of herself and Dionne by having the mic on and singing nothing but gibberish.

Amy Winehouse may not be able to make it through any of her concerts but the British train wreck of a singer has to make a living somehow. And apparently, she thinks that starting her own jewellery line is the way to do just that. London-based label PPQ has agreed to endorse this fashionable endeavor of Wino’s. I hope they have a ton of cash to burn because I truly believe that this will all just go up in flames faster than you can say “Wino has been hospitalized again.” Would you buy any of Wino’s designs? I don’t even consider her a fashion icon.

Lady Gaga has said that if there was one person she’s credit with bring her success then that would be Amy Winehouse because the troubled British singer made “strange clothes” fashionable. Though Lady Gaga has such hits like Pokerface & Just Dance to her credit but she still feels that Amy’s contribution to singers like her cannot be discounted.

Speaking to PopEater.com Lady Gaga says, “I will always have a very deep love for Amy Winehouse. Because of Amy, very strange girls like me go to prom with very good-looking guys. She’s a different kind of woman I don’t believe that what I do is very digestible, and somehow Amy was the flu for pop music. And everybody got a little bit of the flu and got over it, and fell in love with Amy Winehouse. And now, when more flu comes along, it’s not so unbearable.”

Come on girl why the hell do you find Amy as the source of your success and if you think so then drugs are the next thing you would follow because then that will create more headlines and success for you. One HUGE difference in the two however is the fact Winehouse hasn’t had to rely on “strange” to be successful because she actually has TALENT.

I hear Amy Winehouse is in the market for a new wardrobe designer. Ha! I’m guessing Kanye’s not lining up for the job.

Kanye is, however, hooking up with Louis Vuitton to create a new line of shoes for men and women. Looking at Kanye’s style, I’m betting those will be some hot shoes. He’s also working with Takashi Murakami, a lead artist.

Also in November, Kanye is set to launch a clothing line to go with the jewelry line he already has.

He’s stylin’ and profilin’!

Duffy is tired of being compared with other female singers. The 23-year-old Welsh singer – real name Aimee Anne Duffy – has been compared with Dusty Springfield and hailed as the ‘new Amy Winehouse’ since releasing her breakthrough single ‘Mercy’ earlier this year, but wants to be recognized in her own right.

She said: “To be honest, if it’s not Leona Lewis, it’s Amy Winehouse. I’m being compared with Lily Allen or Dusty Springfield, bless her soul, she was an amazing woman. I just feel like one day I’ll be known as myself, but time will tell.”

The singer – who won Single of the Year for ‘Mercy’ at MOJO Honours List 2008 on Monday – also spoke about how far she had come.

She added: “This time last year I was eating fish and chips on a North Wales beach! This is my first big awards ceremony. No one cared about me then so I don’t know why they do now.”

Duffy remained tight-lipped over rumors she is set to record the theme song for the new James Bond movie, ‘Quantum of Solace’, teasingly saying: “A lady never exposes her secrets. You’ve got to leave this Welsh girl alone.”

Songstress MIA recently had a sit down with Uptown magazine where she was asked about what she thought of British singers like Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen. What she had to say was funny, mean and the truth all at the same time. She said “The biggest thing coming out of England right now are singers like Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen. I think questioning the status quo for them is doing lines of cocaine in the toilet.” Honestly, I couldn’t have said it better myself. It’s like she took the words out of my mouth. MIA is now officially my hero.

Amy Winehouse has reportedly branded Pete Doherty’s songs ’s**t’, throwing their duet plans into doubt.

‘Rehab’ singer Amy has been working with the Babyshambles rocker since he left prison last week but has been unimpressed with his musical efforts. A source said: “Pete’s really struggling to get it together. It hasn’t clicked yet. Amy has thrown back every song Pete has written for her. She keeps telling him they’re rubbish, and worse, and she’ll only perform if the song is great. When she’s in the studio she can be ruthless and doesn’t care about hurting people.”

Pete and Amy have been spotted together nearly every day since the former Libertines star got his freedom back. Amy started work on a number of tracks with Pete’s Babyshambles bandmate Mick Whitnall while the ‘Killamangiro’ singer was still in Wormwood Scrubs Prison.

The pair intended to meet up earlier this week for a jam at the Jazz After Dark venue in London’s Soho, but by the time they arrived at the venue, 2am, it had closed.

Amy Winehouse is working on a new track with Babyshambles.

Band frontman Pete Doherty confirmed the ‘Rehab’ singer teamed up with guitarist Mick Whitnall in the studio while he was in London’s Wormwood Scrubs Prison.

He said: ‘Mick and Amy have a great relationship. They have been working on material while I was in prison. When I came out I went straight to the recording studio. I just want to get the music going. We’ve been told we will be doing a third album. That will keep me busy and hopefully out of trouble.’

The collaboration, first sounded out last year, is tipped to be released as a single and will appear on the next Babyshambles album.

Earlier this month, producer Mark Ronson reportedly halted sessions to record the new James Bond theme with Amy, 24, saying he was not sure she was ready to work on new music. Pete was released from jail last week after serving 29 days of a 14-week sentence for drug offences.

Hubby is locked up, or I’d wonder if he caused that swelling in her cheeks. If you notice in the photo, Amy Winehouse’s cheek is swollen and bruised. No word from reps on the cause of the change.

It looks like an allergic reaction to me; if I had to put money on it, I’d say bees finally set up shop in the hive and Amy’s allergic. Ouch!

Trampy Amy Winehouse is launching her own brand of clothes and make-up so fans can copy her unique style. The news emerged yesterday as Amy, 24, modelled the look — including a leopard-print scarf atop her matted barnet and cig stuck to her lip.

The range will include hairspray, but the signature piece is set to be the heavy liquid eyeliner the Rehab singer has made famous. She has a meeting scheduled for later this week to discuss the project with fashion and cosmetics experts.

A pal revealed yesterday: “Amy’s style has been copied by girls around the country and there’s a lot of money to be made. It’s a very distinctive look. She wants to bring out a range of cosmetics and fashion products. There could be hairspray, head scarves, liquid eyeliner, perfume. All the things that are distinctive of her look.”

A fashion industry source added: “I think this stuff would sell very well in London. She has become a fashion icon despite not always looking too fresh.”

Amy Winehouse’s turbulent marriage is looking shakier than ever as she gears up for her big Brits performance tonight.

The singer missed a crucial awards show rehearsal on Monday after learning that her jailbird hubby Blake Fielder-Civil was trading her signed pictures for hits of heroin. Distraught Amy thought he was swapping the snaps for cigarettes from other lags in London’s Pentonville Prison.

Her friends believe his sordid deals have pushed her “closer than ever” to ditching the junkie loser. A Brits source revealed: “Amy was supposed to rehearse on Monday, but didn’t show up after she discovered Blake had been trading pictures of her for drugs. It’s a real shame she wasn’t there for the rehearsal. Everyone got really worried. It’s sad Blake has sent her into turmoil again just before her big night. She’s been working so hard to get her head together for this.”

So is divorce on the horizon?

Has it all got a bit too much for Blake? Amy Winehouse’s junkie husband narrowly cheated death after a drugs overdose in prison. The question is – was it a genuine accidental overdose, or was it a suicide attempt?

Blake Fielder-Civil was rushed to the jail’s hospital block when he collapsed in agony after taking what he thought was heroin. Guards found the 35-year-old writhing in pain and vomiting violently in a cell. They instantly set off alarms and activated emergency procedures to save his life.

A probe was launched and prison officers found he had taken a drug believed to be heroin, mixed with a toxic substance. A jail source said: “This was a close call, but he might not be so lucky next time. If he carries on taking so many drugs, he’ll end up dead before long.”

Even though she didn’t make it to sing live on stage, Amy rocked the Grammys with her performance via satellite from London. But that wasn’t nearly her biggest accomplishment for the night.

Amy racked up an amazing five Grammy awards before the show was over. Her awards included record of the year, song of the year, and best new artist.

After sending a shout out to her “Blake incarcerated”, she spoke to the group gathered with her in London. “It’s a shame I couldn’t be there to accept the awards, but I’m so proud and happy that I had the opportunity to perform for the Grammsy in my hometown of London with my family and friends around me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

Amy Winehouse is nominated for 6 Grammy Awards and is even slated to perform on the show which will go down live on Sunday in Los Angeles. However, don’t look for her there because Wino’s visa application to enter the US was just rejected by the American Embassy in London.

Amy’s UK-based publicist has released a statement regarding the matter saying “Amy has been progressing well since entering a rehabilitation clinic two weeks ago and although disappointed with the decision has accepted the ruling and will be concentrating on her recovery. There will of course be other opportunities and she very much looks forward to visiting America in the near future.”

Mika has revealed he wants to collaborate with Amy Winehouse on a Jewish album.

Beirut-born Mika’s mother is Lebanese, and having learned that Amy was planning an album of Christmas and Hanukkah songs, he is keen to get involved to “make a statement”.

The flamboyant singer revealed: “I heard Amy will be recording an album of Jewish music once she gets well and I’d like to make a contribution to it. I really like her music. Think about this – me, a part-Lebanese artist working on a Jewish album. I think that’s a nice statement. I’d like to make a statement some day.”

Israel and Lebanon have had years of violent conflict. I’m not sure that Mika singing about Big Girls or Lollipops will make much of an impact on the situation; but I like his sentiment.
