Shakira Makes Decade Lists
25th December, 2009Shakira is featured in AOL’s Spinner site, which has recently published its Artists and Songs of the Decade lists. The 32-year old singer’s song ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ has been named the 42nd best song of the decade while Shakira herself is the 24th best artist. Spinner said “With a name like Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, it’s no wonder this Colombian dynamo answers to her first name only. After crossing over into the English-speaking market in a very big way, she has earned the right to one-name superstardom.” That she does. Congratulations to Shakira for the recognition that she so deserves!
