Leighton Meester Joins Weezer in Concert
5th November, 2009‘Gossip Girl’ star Leighton Meester joined Weezer on stage during the band’s Halloween concert at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City last weekend. The actress and aspiring singer helped Rivers Cuomo sing the band’s new single ‘(If You’re Wondering if I Want You To) I Want You To’. Naked Brothers Band guitarist Nat Wolff also joined in on the show. After the show, Leighton went on her Twitter to talk about her experience and said that Rivers was “perfection in a bottle”. I know I’ve shared my doubts about Leighton’s singing but she’s actually pretty good live. The success of her music career is still up in the air though.
