Debbie Rowe Forks Over Custody for Money
August 7th, 2009Katherine Jackson and Debbie Rowe have recently reached a custody agreement for the children of Michael Jackson. The late King of Pop’s mom will have custody while his ex-wife will be allowed visitation. But while we all thought that it was drama free and all done in the kids’ best interests, it turns out that something more dubious went on. Debbie has apparently forgone the custody in exchange for spousal support payments which total to $4 million. While the late singer’s brothers and lawyers were reluctant to adhere to Debbie’s demands, Katherine made the executive decision to give her the money to put the whole thing to rest and avoid putting the kids in front of the media.
