Nick Jonas Meets The President
June 29th, 2009Not being surrounded by the rest of the Jonas Brothers doesn’t mean that Nick Jonas will chill for the day. Last week, the singer made a stopover at Washington DC to meet with President Obama. Nick was in Capitol Hill for a very important cause. He testified at a Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee hearing on government funding for diabetes research along with Sugar Ray Leonard and Mary Tyler Moore. That’s a big job for a 16-year old to handle but a smart move as, with Nick being a teen idol, he can get the youth more informed and involved. Good on him!
