Adam Lambert Needs to Practice What He Preaches
May 29th, 2009It seems that Adam Lambert wants to stay in the closet as long as he can, which is why I find it a bit too hypocritical that he still preaches about being true to yourself. In an interview earlier this week, the singer said “It’s a really, really cool thing to be able to show people that you can be yourself, and you should be proud of yourself, and you should own who you are and what you’re about, and never make apologies for it.” The American Idol runner up also relishes in the opportunity to be an eccentric role model and show youngsters how to be comfortable in their own skin, saying “It feels really amazing to be able to try and pass that on to kids and young adults who don’t have a role model like that.” True, except he’s not really doing that by staying closeted.
