My friends and I took pride in the fact that we were the weirdest girls at our school. We never fit in with the cool girls because we didn’t really care what people thought. We has so much fun goofing off and being being crazy. We would go out to dinner in our prom dress, accessorized with scarves, fingerless gloves and costume jewelry. Sometimes we’d draw a beauty mark on our faces, wear a tiara and funny slippers. We didn’t care!” Looking at her now, who would have thought?
