Janet Jackson’s Ticket Sales

Since Janet Jackson’s many canceled tour dates and the now complete end of her tour, everyone thought that she was hiding due to poor ticket sales. However, Live Nation is reporting to Billboard Magazine that ticket sales for her Rock Witchu Tour weren’t actually that bad. While not all of the sales have been reported yet, box scores ranked at least in the top 30 with half of the four reported shows in the top 20. In Washington, DC, Janet’s tour actually ranked its best at number 11. There are 7 other cities still to report. So if it wasn’t due to the bomb of ticket sales, what made her cancel her show completely?
