Celine is Taking Chances
August 24th, 2007Celine Dion fans are in for a treat. A few lucky fans of the French-Canadian singer got to attend a very special listening party for her new album this past Monday night in Las Vegas. The tentative title of the album ‘Woman in Me’ has since been changed to ‘Taking Chances’ – with good reason.
The album definitely has a rock theme and is very guitar driven. It’s a sound that’s a little left of center for her. However, her trademark power ballads and even a bit of the blues are still there. It’s mixing something old with something new. With the change in sound, Celine is taking a chance.
