Beyoncé: Best BET?
May 18th, 2007Beyoncé Knowles managed to nab six nominations for the 2007 BET Awards. The show also gave nods to her co-stars in Dream Girls and is actually handing out a lifetime achievement award to the woman that inspired the story, Diana Ross. All of Beyoncé’s nominations are for her music though and not her acting.
I say, why nominate her for anything at all? I agree, the songs are catchy but they’re not all that. I honestly don’t get the point of saying “to the left to the left” over and over again. She just lacks substance in all forms of her job whether it’s acting OR singing.
I think they should hold all the music nominations away from her. Wait a year. Then out comes Melinda Dolittle to kick her ass. Oh yes!!! Now there’s a girl that can sing songs with substance and has the best personality out of anyone out there. I’d trade all Beyoncé’s, Britney’s, Madonna’s, Ciara’s and whoever else for one Melinda.
